Okay, so it’s not really my tip, I got this one from a friend of mine. But it’s a great one, and I can guarantee it will be the cheapest deodorant you will ever find. I love this tip, it works incredibly well and is awesome for anybody will allergy problems AND for people who don’t like using chemicals.
It’s really important to use a natural deodorant because a lot of toxins are released from your body through your under arms. The last thing you want to do is keep those toxins inside of you. They are going to have to come out some way!
I’ve even used this deodorant when I’ve gone rollerblading, and it’s REALLY hot in Brisbane at the moment so that definitely counts for something. If it’s passed the rollerblading test then it is something I feel confident in recommending.
What’s the secret? You’ll have to watch to find out …
If you do try this deodorant, leave me a comment and tell me how you went!
I went to a bloggers meetup last night, which is a great place to meet other bloggers in my local area. Anyway, when I was telling everyone about my niche and what I blog about, and how I had really bad acne last year and now I’m writing about it …three people said to me ‘wow, well you wouldn’t be able to tell that now, your skin looks fantastic’. These people made my day. I could have jumped up off my chair and given them a massive bear hug.
So it took a few months, almost a year in fact, and I worked really hard at it, but I now feel like my clear skin is here to stay. Now, I’m going to turn my focus on you, in making sure that you too can clear your problem skin
I know I’ve complained about Proactiv before, but this time I’ve done a video blog post so you can see how passionately I dislike the product.
Proactiv uses the active ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide (BP) which you probably know by now that I absolutely hate. Proactiv in particular uses a heap of BP which will dry out and irritate most skin types. Oh, and it will also bleach your towels and even your eyebrows.
If you’re considering purchasing Proactiv Solution, watch this video first. I strongly recommend that you don’t purchase the product. There are definitely better ways to cure acne.
Hi everyone! Here is my next video blog post. This one is about my progress with the supplement Maca and how my skin is doing in the ‘danger’ time of my cycle’. This post is especially important for women with hormonal acne.
I was browsing through an acne forum today and I came across the question ‘"will cigarettes and smoking make my acne worse?". Now this is something that I’ve never considered before because I have never smoked. The answer to this question however didn’t surprise me at all.
How smoking can effect your skin
Men and women who smoke are 65% more likely to have acne than non-smokers, specifically non-inflamed blackheads and blocked pores.
Smoking restricts blood vessels which can reduce circulation. This reduces the amount of oxygen and minerals being transported to the skin.
Smoking can also cause wrinkles, because an enzyme forms, which breaks down collagen in the skin.
Tobacco smoke in the air also has a drying effect on the skin.
Smoking reduces the amount of Vitamin A in the body, which is really bad because Vitamin A is very important in the prevention of acne.
Smoking can also slow down the healing processes in the body.
For people who suffered acne as teenagers, the probability of also suffering acne in adulthood is four times higher in smokers than non-smokers.
Hey, I see this as just another good excuse to quite smoking if you have the habit.
