In this “Ask Fran” video I answer a few of your questions.
First, I ask all the boys out there the question – what are you looking for in a skin care product? Are you after something that smells a bit more ..manly? Are you okay with unisex packaging or do you want something specifically just for men?
Then I answer a few questions about types of acne and finding the root cause of your skin condition.

Hi Fran,
I’m one of those guys that doesn’t care if it’s smelling like flowers, as long as it works. But most guys are only now starting to get into this new concept of taking care of their skin, so I think making a product for boys specifically will allow them to feel a bit more com fortable, as well as a scent that’s sort of faint but a bit woodsy like a subtle but strong good smelling plant or capturing like toned down sea mud and salt. Something along those lines.
Hi Guys,
I’ve used Liz Earle’s skincare now for the best part of a year and for me is just the *nuts*.
(I’ve had to step up to another treatment temporarily as I flooded my body with Udo’s choice, over burdened my liver and broke out beyond belief!)
The products are very caring and never aggravate the skin, not once have I felt worse after using them. There is a three step process (if you wish) A cleanse and polish kit that comes with a pure muslin cloth for exfoliation and a gentle moisturiser, they smell great and once they’re on the smell is gone anyways so don’t worry you wont be smelling like a *fairy*…It’s called naturally active and formulated especially for men, available worldwide too.
Hope this helps you guys out.
Hi, just keep it simple, tight packaging that doesn’t look out of place in any situation, A good stone colour is always a winner. I personally prefer scents like bergamot and peppermint as they smell refreshing and uplift your mood.
I think many guys will not go out and buy packaging which is covered in flowers and hearts. I will always gravitate towards neutral-packaged products – I moisturise daily (essential with daily ocean and sun abuse!) and use a ‘guys’ moisturiser – which is in a fairly neural packaging and has more of a fresh smell then a floral/fruity ‘girl’ smell, or a musky ‘guys’ smell.
I know some guys like the stronger musk-smelling colognes, but I prefer lighter fresh-smelling colognes – I don’t know what the guy consensus on that is though!
Woody smell, smth like Men’s Stock North Woods Shave Cream from Aubrey Organics. I also like their Herbal Pine Doedorant. I also like (as a Scorpio) lemon and bergamot notes in my deodorant or perfume, and never strong – I am not a repellent))))
Forgot the packaging. Most of us don’t really care about the actual container’s or bottle’s design. For the actual box or whatever embodies the product, nothing even remotely girly, guys already feel a bit awkward cashing skin care items. So solid colors (no pink) and just keep it neutral you know, don’t fuss over packaging for guys. Maybe since HighonHealth’s web colors are pink and blue you could use them respectively for the girl and guy product??
Fran, how about your coaching program? When is it going to be available?
I wonder why I have to struggle to use skin care products? It would be nice apply some moisturising cream after shaving. But I have always thought that skin products is only for women. I guess it’s time to change my opinion about that.
Fran, I also like to thank you for motivating me to make youtube-videos. I saw the interview with Yaro Starak, whom I been following for a while. It made me start my own blog about my journey to get back in shape.
Thanks
Pierre
Hey Fran, Thanx for putting up this video!
As far as packaging goes, im pretty sure anything that doesnt have pink, flowers, or too many light colours, will make some guys (like me) feel a little more comfortable about buying skin care products. Its wierd why some of us fuss over it so much, it can make us feel a little less masculin when we worry about our skin i guess. Id also like to add that im not looking for any strong fragrance in my cleansers/moisturizers because im not looking to use them as some kind of cologn. i just want to get the job done without walking down to many pink isles
Thanx again for this video and giving us guys this special bit of consideration!
ive used so many home remedies (from garlic and tomatoes etc) i know I walk around smelling like a veggie salad.

Pierre- that’s wonderful that you’re making YT videos now! What’s your channel?
getting rid of acne- Lol! I can think of worse things that you could smell of. Maybe you’ll attract a vegetarian
I go au natural when it comes to skin care.
cleanser- exercise, get all the bad stuff out via sweating
toner- eat a healthy diet
moisturizer- drink plenty of water
I don’t use any products on my face, just rinse with water.
Hey Fran,
Im a 15 year old guy, and I’ve been looking after my skin for a while now so the issue of girly packaging is nothing new to me =P But, I personally dont have a problem with using anything that smells fruity of that is packaged is a femanine manner. So, if you would like my opinion on this subject i would say go for a uni-sex skin care line. Because as youve said before in previous videos that keeping things simple is essential, and if you make two different skin care lines then its probably just going to cause confusion amung both genders. Well, that just my thoughts on this. Again, thanks for all the advise Fran, keep it coming!
