What Is ToothSoap?
If you’re currently using commercial toothpaste, please consider at least switching to a more natural brand.
I wrote an article about natural toothpaste a year or two ago which discussed how destructive the chemicals in most toothpastes can be for our health. You can read the article here – Toothpaste is poison!
Collectively we’re not doing a very good job with our oral hygiene. You only need to ask how many of your friends and family have cavities and root canals to realize that something just isn’t quite right. If we were properly looking after our teeth, then we would not need to have them filled in and patched up.
And while natural toothpastes are certainly a better option than commercial brands (because they do not contain chemicals), they’re certainly not the best option.
A whole heap of new information on oral health is making its way into the alternative health industry. One leading product is Tooth Soap, which is the product I’m giving away in this contest.
Tooth Soap understands that most toothpastes are too abrasive for our teeth. That we’re scrubbing away the beautiful protective layer that actually protects our teeth from getting “sick”. The number one best way to look after the health of our teeth is to eat properly. This means a diet rich in minerals (raw fruits and veggies, seaweeds, superfoods etc) and low in sugars.
In combination with ensuring our body contains a healthy amount of minerals, we then need to nurture and support our teeth with gentle products. Tooth Soap contains very basic ingredients – extra virgin olive oil, coconut and palm oils, distilled water and pure essential oils. Very simple yet very effective. This “soap” is non abrasive so it’s working towards supporting and encouraging the remineralization of your teeth instead of scrubbing that much needed protective layer away.
Rumor has it that flossing our teeth regularly will add an extra 6.4 years onto our lives. Whether or not this number is true, there’s no doubt that flossing our teeth is food for us. Have you ever flossed then smelt what’s come out of your teeth? It’s quite hideous actually. A lot of bacteria and rotting food sits in between our teeth which is the perfect breeding ground for disease, and not just disease in our teeth and gums, but in our body as well.
Byrtonpicks are just an alternative to dental floss. At times I’ve felt a little guilty because I love to use a really long piece of floss. This can get expensive and not too good for the environment. So brytonpicks are reusable “picks” that will last about 30 days per pick with regular use.
They’re also super easy to carry around, so great for those emergencies when you’re out. We’ve all been there. For me it’s usually a big wedge of seaweed stuck right between my front teeth that I have a lot of trouble getting out!!
I’ve just released my first High on Health branded skin care product!! And to celebrate I’m giving the product away to one lucky reader.
The winner will receive four packs of High on Health Australian clay, including Washed Blue, Olive Green, Yellow and Ivory. This is a total value of US$88.

It’s contest time again at High on Health! Here’s the prize-
I love, love, love Inna Segal and was lucky enough to get the opportunity to meet her early last year. I actually did an hour long video interview with her which sits inside theClearestSkinEver.com coaching program.
Inna has some super interesting things to say about treating disease in the body and treating acne specifically. The book is a handy guide on the emotional connection between disease and emotions. There are even a couple of daily meditations in the book that you can do to heal your skin.
The prize also includes a couple of CDs. The first is a series of audios on how you can self heal your own body. The second CD I’m quite proud of because I asked her to record it and she did! It’s a series of meditations designed to heal the skin. There is even an entire meditation specifically for healing acne.
