How To Input A Vibration Into Your Food & Why You Want To

You may already be familiar with the practice of blessing your food but have you thought about also inputting the vibration of an intention into the food you eat? I began unconsciously practicing this two years ago when I decided for a moment to stop eating for my “health” and to instead eat for my “sensuality” whilst I was working on building up my femininity. It was an amazing experiment which led to the realisation that yes we can actually bring an energy into the physical using the food that we eat. More in the video…

How Do You Feel About What You’re Putting Into Your Body?

I keep revisiting this topic because I feel that it’s an important one.

The other day I was talking with a friend about our food choices. He said to me that he was a “flexitarian”. I loved his concept so decided to put myself into that flexible little box too.

The more I travel the more I realise how super important it is to honor what my body is telling me to shift my diet too. In Peru my body asks for heavier more grounding foods – warming soups, spices, lots of heavy good fats – coconut oil, avocado, sacha inchi oil, along with fresh raw milk from a couple of cows that live across the road from me, free range organic eggs from a chicas garden brought to my door in a little woven basket, and bread baked that morning in my friends fire oven from locally grown organic produce. And of course lots of potato since there are 4,500 varieties of potato in Peru!!!!!!!!

In Bali, all my body wants is greens, fruits, juices and salads.. light and raw and vegan. Vegan because my body has asked for that and ethically because I don’t get a good feeling from how the local animals are treated here. It’ll all about honouring our body and honouring the land and the culture we’re in. More in the video…

Honouring Where You Are, The Daily Green Bowl Recipe + My Superfood Condiment Strategy

Hi. This is Ally, and I love myself. Especially because right now, today,  it’s Women’s Day. I make my own money, have my own driver’s license, went to university, and I can vote! I am so grateful!

I want to share a couple of things with you. One is a way to up your nutrient-ante everyday, and the next a ‘loose’ recipe. That is, a recipe where measurements are to taste, appetite and number of mouths to feed, and can feature whatever you’ve got on hand (what is seasonally available, and hence, cheaper!). Just make sure the star ingredient is a leafy green. Then swap like for like as you see fit! Just keep in mind that different vegetables have different cooking times, so chop things smaller or bigger as needed!

Not Sure What This Video Is About… Ummmm….. ?

I was feeling like too much of a fairy when I recorded this video to talk about anything too serious. So I made this video.. I’m not REALLY sure what it’s about but hey, I show my favorite recipe book that I do recommend you look into getting if you’re looking for new healthy recipes. It’s one of those magical books where everything you make from it tastes awesome so you can pretend you’re some kind of superstar in the kitchen. Well that’s what I do anyway ;)

Watch Hungry For Change For FREE Until Saturday Night (& Maybe Change Your Life…)

I love this documentary. Food Matters (that was made by the same film makers) literally changed my life. It actually spiralled me into becoming a crazy health geek for a number of years, and I loved every moment of it. The alternative health world is fun and kooky. Maybe the same thing will happen to you… you can only find out when you watch!

Here is the link to watch for free until Saturday night.
