Product Review: AcnEase Herbal Supplement For Treating Acne

I don’t talk about acne so much anymore, but lately the topic has seemed to have resurfaced! Everything happens for a reason so I guess a bunch of you really needed the information that’s coming through in my upcoming webinar and in this product review. I very, very rarely talk about supplements but this one caught my eye because it’s a little different than any other I’ve seen. More in the video…

Read more about AcnEase here…

ps- I recorded this video BEFORE our discussion about the wind chimes which is why you can still hear them ;)

Hi. What do you think of AcnEase compared to Clear Pores? Thanks.

Interesting. Why am I finding out about all of these products at a time when I am trying to get preggers? Well I have called the company to see if OK to take but in general, you have to be careful with herbals when pregnant. Right now I take an all natural herbal supplement from Himalaya called Stresscare but its not designed specifically for acne. They have a skincare product called Dermacare but it has neem which is a natural contraceptive so a no no for me right now! I would try the one Fran recommends perhaps just for a month if its OK to do so!

Fran – I am pitta/vata constitution too ;) more pitta i think!

Hey Fran! Thanks for the recommendation….my skin isn’t so much cystic anymore as it is very very congested with a lot of blackheads and small bumps that sit under my skin that I have no idea what they are….they don’t look like blackheads or whiteheads. They are mostly on my cheeks and down around my chin and jawline, they don’t surface or pop and they seem to never go away. Do you think AcneEase would be a good treatment option for this type of skin condition?

thanks!

Fran! I forgot to mention this to you in our last email exchange, but I’ve actually been on Acnease for the last 6 weeks! I think I’m one of the cases in which I’ll probably see improvement 3-4 months in rather than 1 month. I have noticed, though, that my skin tone seems to be slowly becoming more even. I really love everything about this product and I hope it works in conjunction with my liver flushing! The testimonials on the official Acnease website are all glowingly positive (and there’s so many!). Fingers crossed… :)

Also, Fran AND Mel: I’m definitely vata/pitta as well. I think I’m normally quite evenly split between the two, but due to the acne, I’m clearly dealing with a pitta imbalance at the moment! I’ve just finished reading Andreas Moritz’ book “Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation,” and it’s convinced me to try shifting my diet a bit to cater to healing a pitta imbalance. We’ll see how it works out… along with the Acnease… xx

In case anyone is wondering about this product during pregnancy, I called the company and they said this:

‘ AcnEase has not been noted for any adverse effects and had been use by both pregnant and lactating women however since pregnancy is a very important and sensitive time in women’s’ and baby life we strongly recommend you consult your physician before you use it.’

I would like to hear from a TCM specialist or naturopath what they think. Wonder if Fran knows anyone she can ask? I could ask mine but I guess I shoudl go in for an appointment! :P.

Unfortunately the shipping costs to canada are pretty high – 25 bucks.

Hi Fran,
I have read many negative reviews about this product. Not only does this product not work for so many hopeful acne sufferers, AcneEase seems to not honour their money-back guaranteed policy! Here are some reviews I’ve seen posted on other websites:

http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php/topic/8091-steer-clear-of-acnease/

http://www.healthboards.com/boards/acne/521-acnease.html

Many more negative reviews out there…

Love you Fran. I know your heart is good on this journey. Thanks so much for all the information you’ve given me along my acne-healing journey. The things that you’ve suggested over the years that have helped me the most are Apple Cider Vinegar, B-5 vitamins, and the wonderful Hemp Hemp Hooray Products which I still love! I’ve also been using mineral makeup from EveryDayMinerals since you recommended it a few years ago. The other thing that helps me a lot is pure Tea Tree Oil.

I wish all you acne sufferers out there much success in your healing! It’s been years and I still haven’t found the miracle cure…

The money back is only for a certain amount of time, only for the first purchase , for unopened bottled only and minus shipping/duties etc so maybe it didn’t meet those requirements.

It probably works for some and not others like most things. If you go in thinking it won’t work , it probably won’t . If the stats are right, then it is impressive

I’m not sure i can get past the night shipping costs . I buy things from Israel with less than 5 bucks shipping so I don’t see why this company would charge so much from New York to toronto . A bit ridiculous

Also, it seems to be helping the teen model with severe cystic acne- Cassandra bankson and it doesn’t sound like she does much else to help clear her skin.

Hi Fran,

Please ignore the email I sent you two days ago, I had’nt read the page clearly!
AcnEase looks like a good alternative to other things some people could find. Pity it’s not affordable.

Sincerely,

Andromeda
