I’m sorry I haven’t been recording much video lately but it’s been raining a bit here in Brisbane and I’ve really been enjoying working curled up on the sofa with a cup of herbal tea.
But I’m still around! And here’s a video about a super delicious raw breakfast I made this morning, along with a few other bits about food-
Here is the link to the fabulous recipe eBook that I found the raw chia seed porridge in- No Dehydrator Needed Raw Food Recipes
And as promised, here is the recipe for the raw granola I made a couple of months ago- A raw oat breakfast for two.

I’m so glad you are in to raw food! I have been eating high raw for about 8 months, actually it all started when I came your website looking for info on how to clear some acne i had on my chin, and I clicked on a link to Rawvolta!
I gave a 100% raw food diet a go because I was sick of being tired and coming down with every flu/virus all the time.. turns our I only felt worse and got bad tummy pains/yucky toilet habits. Turns out may have been all the fructose I was ingesting from eating so many fruits and veg. I’m now trialing a low FODMAP diet to find out whether I’m a fructose malabsorber.
I eat a similar breaky to this, slightly more prep though. I soak raw buckwheat in water overnight in the fridge and give it a good rinse under a strainer when it’s done (gets rid of the sticky/gluggy/bitter waste) i chuck it into a bowl and soak it, along with some seeds (sesame, chia, flax, sunflower, pepita) for however long I can be bothered soaking it for with in some soy or almond milk. Eat it with some chopped up banana (allowed on a low FODMAP diet) and enoy this yummy healthy start to my day!
I was eating more raw veggies like in green smoothies, and became all nauseous after a week. I couldn’t even stand still. I don’t know what went wrong either.
I want to go raw vegan as well, but I’m too scared of becoming skinnier. After a week of drinking green smoothie instead of eating regular breakfast, my pants already get loose LOL
Fran,
I’ve been eating a similar raw porridge breakfast lately - it’s really yummy.
I soak 1/4-1/2 cup oat groats over night in filtered water with a tablespoon of ground linseed (flaxseeds), then in the morning I mince it through my Oscar 900 Juicer (after much deliberation I bought one from Mrs Flannery’s - $400 dollars worth on special … but I love it :)) with either some cut up apple, berries, mango or whatever fruit is in season and I am craving in the morning.
You can also add more water to this to make it a smoothy or add walnuts/almonds/brazil nuts instead of linseeds.
All the best!
