I hadn’t had an overgrowth of Candida in ten years …until I was given a course of antibiotics to treat my acne. Well, the antibiotics didn’t work so I went off them, but they did leave me a little gift – an overgrowth of Candida in the form of a yeast infection.
Now keep in mind a couple of things. First, I haven’t had this problem in about ten years AND I’ve taken short courses of antibiotics a couple of times in that period for throat and chest infections. Also note that a Candida overgrowth can also pop up in your bowel. So what’s so bad about having a Candida overgrowth in your bowel? Well, this is one of the biggest root causes of acne, and I’ve seen a lot of cases of even severe acne that is caused by a Candida overgrowth alone.

can laxatives get rid of *some* candida?? and i do have thick white coating headed torward the bk of my tongue!! oh no… i have several signs n how do i get rid of it.

Hi!
I have been on antiobiotic doxycycline for almost a year now. My skin has gotten much much better than when I started and no problems with yeast infection, but the problem is that it has not completely cleared up. I still get quite a few nasty pimples every day that end up scarring badly, I have little bumps all over my face even though I exofoliate, and a fair share of black heads. I know it’s not because of my diet. I eat quite healthy. My doctor prescribed me another three months of the antibiotic plus ortho tri cyclen.
I was wondering if you have any knowledge of how well atibios and the pill work together. I’ve been searching around and have come out empty handed. Please if there is any information you can give me I’d be very grateful.
