Hi! I recently discovered your site and I love everything I’ve seen so far. I’m not sure if you covered this before but it would be great to know more about skin care regimens for specific skin types or how to create one for our skin.
Thanks!

#2 Taylor on 12.14.09 at 11:07 am

#6 Abby on 12.14.09 at 11:09 am

I’ve loved watching your videos and reading the stuff you write about because it’s just so helpful. Honestly, it is. I would like you to write or talk about in a video next year about more products that worked and didn’t work. I would also like to see you talk more about more food that is good and bad for your skin.

#7 Clarissa on 12.14.09 at 11:09 am

Hi Fran! Your site is already great and comprehensive, but I’d love to learn more about controlling hormonal acne.

#8 Kate on 12.14.09 at 11:09 am

Hi Fran,

I would like you to write about new skin care products next year.

Thanks

#9 Mandi Lowery on 12.14.09 at 11:09 am

Hi, Fran. Happy Holidays to you, firstly. My suggestion to you is to talk about teenager’s hormones & stress factors that can cause acne. I think you should offer suggestions to us all, both girls and boys in highschool and college dealing with all the stress of our future. Acne can really get to people, as you’ve discussed. But I’d love a segment directed specifically towards highschool and college students. You’re doing a wonderful job! Thanks.

#10 Breanne Cleland on 12.14.09 at 11:09 am

Thank you for your thoughts. I realize that acne is not always a topic that people want to discuss with other people, yet hear you are. I would love to see more articles on developing the person as a whole as far as their self image…. I know that there are probably a lot of people who have other health related issues that contibute to seeing themselves in a bad light. Thanks

#11 Haley on 12.14.09 at 11:09 am

#21 Claudia on 12.14.09 at 11:14 am

First off I would like to thank you for all the wonderful information you have shared this year. Acne can really take a swipe at your self-esteem so its lovely to have that ongoing support.
I would appreciate more information on natural ways to deal with the scarring that acne leaves behind.
Once again, thanks for everything Fran and looking forward to all you have to offer in the New Year. :)

#22 Erica on 12.14.09 at 11:14 am

Hi Fran! Love your blog! I would love if you could cover great treatments/prevention for chest and back acne. I would also like to read more about “warming” foods that you say cause acne. Thanks so much for all that you do! This blog has been such a great resource. Happy holidays!

#23 shalay on 12.14.09 at 11:15 am

hi fran i would like for you to talk more about natural body care products like deodorant etc im really into that now

#24 Justine on 12.14.09 at 11:15 am

I would think it would be great if you could provide some insight on how to boost self esteem and other issues like that. I find acne takes a huge toll on my normally open and flamboyant self. For instance, I found that article/ email about what the boy thought about that girl with acne. I had no idea guys didn’t care! It would also be cool if you could suggest some good makeup for sensitive or acne prone skin, if there are any! :D The food articles are also wonderful! Maybe some more recipes?

#25 Samihah on 12.14.09 at 11:16 am

How to deal with acne and breakouts resulting from stress! I always break out around exam time..how do i minimize the effects of stress on my acne?

I would like you to talk to us about other internal forms of healing (perhaps aromatherapy, yoga, etc.) that can complement the products used to cure acne.
:)

#29 Emma on 12.14.09 at 11:17 am

I would love to continue to hear and see via video real people’s own experiences, with skincare regime, new products etc. It’s much better to know that it really does or doesn’t work! You are doing a fabulous job though Fran, merry xmas!!

#30 Katie on 12.14.09 at 11:18 am

Hi! I would like to hear more about stress and acne, how you keep your stress minimal. I would also love to keep hearing about great natural products, and oils like jojoba oil. :)

#31 Eunice on 12.14.09 at 11:18 am

I would like to know about face masks in general. I know that there are the peel off masks and the clay masks. Which is better for what type of skin? Does masks actually create a long term effect on the skin? Because everytime I use a mask, the only difference I notice is that my skin just gets softer for that hour or so.

#32 Kim on 12.14.09 at 11:19 am

Hi Fran! Love the site. I think it would be neat if every once in a while you could do segments on natural skin care “on a budget”. You have recommended some great products in the past, but sometimes certain products can be a bit pricey. It would be fun to see certain regiments for the penny-pincher in all of us. ;)

#33 Christine on 12.14.09 at 11:20 am

I would like for you to share more ways I can help my acne internally, such as foods and vitamins.

#34 J on 12.14.09 at 11:22 am

Maybe you could talk about some medical conditions that cause acne. Especially ones that involve the digestive system or organs.

#35 Kathryn on 12.14.09 at 11:22 am

I would love for you to talk about some natural blackhead prevention and/or healthy extraction methods as blackheads are a huge problem of mine.

I also wouldn’t be opposed to some more posts on beauty products. :)

#36 Maggie on 12.14.09 at 11:23 am

I love watching your videos and reading the blog. You have helped me better understand acne. I would really like for you to discuss the topic of how bad bacteria in the intestines causes acne and how to treat this problem. This seems to be my main problem and all the doctors want to do is put me on medications. I would love to learn about a natural solution.

Thanks for all of your help

#37 Amanda on 12.14.09 at 11:23 am

I would love to hear more about natural products (like the manuka honey) that can be used to keep the break outs under control. I would also love to here more on what one can do to help acne scars heal and how to even out skin tone.

Thanks so much for all the lovely and useful information you have given on your blog and in your video.

Happy Holidays! :D

Hiii Fran,
Could you please write about how to prevent very dry skin? I am a swimmer and swimming twice a day really dries my skin out. There must be other alternatives than to just completely stop swimming?

Thanks and Happy Holidays!!

#41 Amira on 12.14.09 at 11:28 am

I need to know how to keep my face hydrated throughout the night, how to successfully exfoliate (I always have flaky skin even after!), how to unclog my pores and keep them that way! and also great ingredients for your skincare.

#42 Denise phillips on 12.14.09 at 11:29 am

I just wanted to say thankyou for doing such a great website. I have been dealing with acne since I was 14. I am 30 now and the last 3 years for me have been the worst with my acne flare ups since I have decided to go off the pill. I as you have tried everything to try to control it. In fact I think I have tried alot of similar things that you talk about trying yourself on your site. I am still struggling with it but am starting to see improvements finally. I have been working on the inside as well as outside to try to control my acne. The topic that would be really great for me is how to deal with acne emotionally. It really takes a toll on your selfesteem and though I am finally seeing improvements it is still hard for me to face the world this way sometimes. So if you could talk about that on your blog that would help myself and many others I’m sure. Thanks again for all your fantastic info. I’m trying the manuka honey tonight to see how it works. I’ll let ya know soon. Thanks again. Denise :)

#43 Jenny on 12.14.09 at 11:29 am

I would love to hear about female hormones’ effect on acne, and if there is a way to “stabilize” hormones.
Thanks Fran! You’re great!

#45 Mei on 12.14.09 at 11:30 am

I would like to know if it is okay or not okay to wear makeup when you have pimples. I have also had an adult onset of cystic acne from stress and hormones. I have a great skin care regime but was just wondering if wearing makeup makes it worse. Thanks! :)

I think your site and information is fantastic and very helpful! I would love to learn more about different skin types based on different ages levels, and body types, and how to better handle it through diet and natural means - specifically for teenagers, and aging adults…

#50 Jesica on 12.14.09 at 11:33 am

I would love to see more about specific foods, perhaps even great recipes for different skin types and continued reviews from people that are really using products.

Hi Fran,
I would love to hear about any natural treatments for Keratosis Pilaris that you might know of in the New Year.

Thanks for the wonderful site and the inspiring stories and information. Merry Christmas :)

Love Tegan.

#53 Michele on 12.14.09 at 11:35 am

I adore your website and think you have awesome, empathetic information. Your tips about diet and especially dairy have helped so much. Personally, I would like more informaton on smoking, which I know is very bad for my skin, but just how much. There isn’t that much helpful information on acne and smoking. Thanks for the awesome information and awesome blog!!

#54 Wing on 12.14.09 at 11:35 am

Hi Fran, I would love to hear more about your newly discovered products and how to keep our skin healthy.
Thank you so much for helping me and everyone here!

I would like to know how to make your skin look younger and refreahed!I hope i win this amazing skin pack

#57 Dottywine on 12.14.09 at 11:36 am

What would you like me to write or video about in High on Health next year?

I would like for you to do a video on how to cure ingrown hairs on the body and on the face (for women who grow facial hairs).

Also a video for those with dry skin. Your suggestions work in the winter when heavy creams are good, but in the summer, we need something light.

#58 Fiona on 12.14.09 at 11:38 am

Hey Fran,

Thanks for doing this. I would love for you to talk about Niacin/Nacinimide/Vitamin B3 and it’s affects or claims with acne. I’ve read studies about it and wondering if you would happen to know more information about it.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

#59 Fee on 12.14.09 at 11:40 am

Hi Fran! I would like some videos on what kinds of makeup can contribute to acne and what people should either stay away from or keep! I also think a video for specific skin types for different seasons would be helpful as well. :) orangeinsanity(at)hotmail(dot)com

#60 Surbhi on 12.14.09 at 11:41 am

I was hoping you could talk about raw foods and hair loss. I’ve noticed that when I’m 100% raw-vegan, I lose more hair. Have you come across any research that might explain this and ways to possibly minimize hair loss on a raw-vegan diet. Thanks!!

#61 Haylii on 12.14.09 at 11:43 am

Honestly, I think you’ve covered everything I could possibly have questions about. Your videos are amazingly helpful and you’ve helped me understand skin and body so much better than before. But if I had to suggest something for a new video I would love to know more about various makeup brands that are good or better than average for our skin. I love makeup! - not just because it covers my acne, but because it’s so fun! But I am more aware of harmful chemicals now and I want to find something that’s a healthier alternative. Thanks so very much, Fran! I hope I win! I love all of the prizes SO MUCH!

#62 Adrian on 12.14.09 at 11:43 am

I would love to know about what vitamind(a,b complex, c, etc.) do to take care of the skin. like which ones have an antibactial or toning and things like that. also how to wash your face, properly. and if acne or wrinkles effect your health. that we be nice.

#63 Olivia on 12.14.09 at 11:44 am

I would like to see a video about taking vitamins and supplements to help our overall health as well as our skin. As you know well know, what you put into your body is as important to what you put on it :)

#64 Serena on 12.14.09 at 11:45 am

more sucessful cases for us to gain confidence!

#65 Heinz Lade on 12.14.09 at 11:47 am

#66 shelbi on 12.14.09 at 11:48 am

hey fran,
I would like to understand more about what kind of healthy choices and foods are good for your body and your skin of course.

#67 May on 12.14.09 at 11:48 am

Hi Fran,

I love your blog, it has really helped me a lot.
Maybe you could do a video about some idea’s for food for the holidays that are coming up.
I always eat to much and too sugary and too fat during this period. Because of this and the make-up I wear to parties make acne usually gets a lot worse. So maybe you have some helpfull suggestions as to what to avoid or something.

#68 Veronika on 12.14.09 at 11:50 am

I love hearing about your experiences with different skin care products, and I love all the recipe posts. Everything you’re doing is great, so keep it up!

#69 Anna on 12.14.09 at 11:50 am

Hi Fran! I’d like to see you do a comprehensive review of the vitamins/supplements that may be useful for the skin. I’ve been recommended zinc, B12, B6, brewer’s yeast, vitamin E, propbiotics, etc.
How do you know which you need? How do the various vitamins interact with each other?
Thanks :-)
Hope I win!!!

#70 Alana on 12.14.09 at 11:50 am

I would like you to talk about reducing redness.

#71 yoyomah on 12.14.09 at 11:52 am

Hi Fran!
I’ve really been wanting you to talk more about herbal remedies to acne. I have so many foods that I’m allergic to(corn, soy, wheat, peanuts), so its almost impossible to avoid them all and I’d like to know more about the natural remedies to such problems.

happy holidays :)

#72 Janice on 12.14.09 at 11:54 am

I would like to hear more about recipes for masks that we can make ourselves and how the ingredients work for skin, and different kinds of reactions from those ingredients.

#73 Melissa on 12.14.09 at 11:55 am

hi Fran! that is just AWESOME!

in addition to more recipes and how to have a positive attitude, I’d also like to hear about how to take care of skin when you’re really active (exercising and sweating frequently). thx!!!

#74 Jessica on 12.14.09 at 11:55 am

I think it would be rally cool if you could give us tips on affordable drugstore products that are ok for the health of our skin. I love your natural skin care so natural drugstore products would be amazing! Thanks.

#75 Fiorella on 12.14.09 at 11:56 am

Oh this is fantastic! I’m just about to travel to Colorado to work for my summer vacations =) I never get to enter this contests )=
Well, as many people have said, you really cover many aspects that have influence on acne and breakouts. I would really, really looooove for you to do a major investigation on how to treat the skin after I have found out what does make me break out and how can I prevent it. It would be a big motivation for me to maintain a regimen, like the 1/10 “good stuff” to eat for my body, if I knew that I’m on my way to getting a really healthy looking skin. My main interest is treating acne scars, of all types. I’m sure you can find a better, and of course natural, treatment than the ones we usually find in internet. I hope you consider this :) Thank you very much!
Merry Christmas and a very happy new year n.n

#76 Abby on 12.14.09 at 11:56 am

I am interested in what types of makeups are best and how you can cover you acne without irritating it. Is natural the best and what are some recommendations. Also, what is a good moisturizer under the foundation. Thanks Fran!

#77 Hanna on 12.14.09 at 11:57 am

I would like to learn about more techniques and strategies for a healthier lifestyle, perhaps more focused on reducing stress.

#78 Natalia on 12.14.09 at 11:58 am

Hi Fran!

I’d love more easy, quick raw recipes relatively low on nuts and seeds.

Hope that’s doable.

Happy holidays!!

N

#79 Alicia on 12.14.09 at 11:58 am

Hi Fran,
After struggling with acne since elementary school, this blog has been a real blessing. I’ve been reading you since last year and you helped me have a totally new view of my skin/health care. Now I feel confident in my care for my body and more informed.
I would love it, though, if you posted about how to implement your program for those of us in college where stress and bad food are always around.

Thank you,
Alicia

#80 Lauryn on 12.14.09 at 11:59 am

Hi Fran!

I would love it if you wrote more instead of the videos - although I love the videos, it’s more convinient for me when I’m on the go and using my iphone to read it!
Destressing ideas, and getting rid of back-acne would also be great! thank you(:

#81 Alice on 12.14.09 at 12:01 pm

You wouldn’t believe how much difference it would have made for me if didnt bump into one of your videos. I learned so much beneficial things from your blogs and I cannot thank you enough for sharing your knowledge on skincare. One thing that I’m really curious about lately is Vitamins & Minerals. I’ve read your posts on Vitamin b12 and they were pretty helpful but I would love to gain more knowledge on what each vitamins do to help our skin and the amount we should have it each day. Thanks!! :)

#82 Katie on 12.14.09 at 12:02 pm

I would love for you to get more in depth on blackheads. I’ve had them for years and have tried everything! Keep doing what you do <3!

#83 pamela razon on 12.14.09 at 12:02 pm

Your website has been such a great help for acne sufferers like me. i’d like to know more about supplements that could help heal acne from inside out. also, natural remedies for acne would be very useful. thanks and more power!!!

#84 luis on 12.14.09 at 12:04 pm

I would like know how to get rid of the big pimples that appear on your nose fast?

#85 Christine Joy Pascua on 12.14.09 at 12:04 pm

Hi Fran thanks for your previous blogs. I think it will be great if you feature alternative treatments for skin acne that will be easily available to anyone like home remedies. Suggests also brands that can be easily bought in stores internationally but will see results and affordable. Feature also non-comodogenic products already available at the market and recommended safe and tested as well as how to reduce acne scars.

#86 KK on 12.14.09 at 12:04 pm

Hi Fran,

I think you should continue writing about skin care but include hair care with it. I’ve seen people with acne have dry, brittle hair and/or thin/thinning hair. There HAS to be a correlation between the two. Would love to learn more about skin and hair.

Happy Holidays,
KK

#87 Wendy on 12.14.09 at 12:05 pm

I would love to know about more home remedies,In todays world it’s hard when your watching every cent you spend. Thanks

Hi Fran, I would like to know how to go off birth control without getting break-outs. Merry Christmas!

#89 MARIA on 12.14.09 at 12:06 pm

I think it would be great if you can please make videos about how to take care of acne caused by side effects from certain medications and illnesses. Thanks!

#90 Victoria on 12.14.09 at 12:06 pm

Hi! I’d like to learn more about understanding what topical products make you breakout. I’ve come to realize that some products although they are “non-comedogenic” will still break me out, but i want to make sure if it’s whats really causing the problem. For example, CeraVe moisturizer, Jojoba oil, oil-free tinted moisturizer, all seem to irritate my acne. But i’m not positive. Could you help me with that? Thank you Fran!

#91 Sammy on 12.14.09 at 12:07 pm

I would like you to talk about the effect of genetics on acne.

#92 Jodie on 12.14.09 at 12:07 pm

Hi Fran, Merry X-mas. I too would also like to hear more regarding hormone imbalance and maybe natural remedies to realign?
Cheers

#93 Miki on 12.14.09 at 12:08 pm

It would be great to see a video on ways to de-stress as a way to decrease new breakouts and heal existing ones.
Also, some great vegan recipies would be fantastic :)

#94 Mona Wang on 12.14.09 at 12:09 pm

Hi Fran,

What I would most like to see you talk about next year in your videos are ways one can cope with scars and traumas caused by severe acne.

I’ve been an acne sufferer for years and it wasn’t until I was on Accutane that the worst of it went away. But my face is covered in deep scars and discoloration that I can’t even remember what it’s like to have healthy, glowy, smooth skin. It painful to see others with luminous skin, everyday - it effects one’s esteem so much! So please if you would have any advice on how to be more confident, it would be, really re-assuring. Thank you.

#95 Sia on 12.14.09 at 12:12 pm

I would like to hear more about how to pick the best moisturizer. My skin can get really dry but using thick moisutrizers clogs my pores, yet thin moisturizers leave my skin flaky.

#96 Annie on 12.14.09 at 12:12 pm

Hi, I’ve been having trouble dealing with the effect of weather on my face. My face will just become red, swollen, everything horrid in the extreme wind or rain.

#97 Alaina on 12.14.09 at 12:13 pm

Hey Fran!
Thanks for this awesome contest, I would absolutely love to try your products. As far as the question goes, I definitely would like to see some more of your raw food recipes. I tried the ‘Raw Shakti Balls’ and they were delicious! Also, it would be great to see a post about how to take care of active pimples. I just can’t stop myself from picking at them. Thanks again, I am excited to see what is to come this new year.

#100 Teresa on 12.14.09 at 12:17 pm

Hi Fran, I’d love to know about all those skincare products which compliment a cleanser and moisturizer - toners, serums etc. There seems to be a lack of GOOD information on them, especially for natural and acne fighting alternatives.

Merry Christmas!

How to treat combination skin, remove/prevent blackheads, and naturally treat hormonal acne.

#102 Sarah on 12.14.09 at 12:18 pm

Hi Fran,

Thanks for all your support this year, it’s been great to have you just ‘a click’ away!

I am interested in learning more about organic ‘back to basics’ skin care products and recipes that support healthy skin function.
For years, we are sold the idea that chemical is the only successful way to manage acne, but you have changed that for me and I am forever thankful to you and High on Health!

Merry Christmas to all.

#103 silla on 12.14.09 at 12:20 pm

hi fran and thank you for all the work you put into this, it has helped me.

can you write about ingrown hair preventions and treatments?

and on ways to treat the redness that the pimples leave behind.

#104 vloweer on 12.14.09 at 12:20 pm

I would like if there was some music background in your vlogs :-) also, maybe photos or so, while you’re mentioning products to use, or just products you make. And! I would like the most more videos :D it’s a lot more comfortable and I like the colors in videos (i’m from Poland, now I’m studying in Belgium, but the weather is not even tiny-close to yours - it’s nice to see the warm that surround you while it’s winter here ^_^)

#105 Ivan on 12.14.09 at 12:21 pm

I would like to see you exposing accutane and revealing the best ways to detoxify yourself, beat your acne, and such. Give us the information about the right natural products.

#114 Christina on 12.14.09 at 12:26 pm

Hey Fran,
this site is so cool and helpful. There are so many interesting skin care routines to choose from, and it’s wonderful!
Some things I think would be good to hear about next year are, ways to maintain skin that is beginning to clear and stopping an acne relaps. Or natural ways to reduce the look of acne, so people aren’t tempted to pick their face. Or more, easy, natural, homemade skincare remedies.
Thanks a lot!

#115 Rani on 12.14.09 at 12:30 pm

Hi Fran,
Thanks for all your advice.
I would love to see an article on how to express our concerns to our Dr’s so that they take us seriously and look deeper into why the problem is there and not just brush us off.

#116 Christina on 12.14.09 at 12:31 pm

I sure hope I win! I’d love to hear more about dealing with acne scars the natural way. Thanks for your site, Fran!

Dear Fran,
Thanks for your committment to this site! I have put into affect lots of tips you have given me! I would like to know more about how food affects hormones and break-outs. I know you have done work on this, but more articles about how nutrition and skin go hand in hand is awesome. Thanks!

#118 Kandice on 12.14.09 at 12:32 pm

Hi Fran!!
Thanks so much for giving us all an opportunity to try such great products that we otherwise might not be able to afford! You have changed my life! My skin has improved dramatically since I have been reading your blog and applying your adivce. What has helped me the most is the hands off rule. I did not know how much damage I was causing and how many breakouts I was createing until I stopped picking!
I would really love recs on different makeup products to use to support clear skin. I have an extremely hard time finding makeup products that fit this category.
Keep up the good work. We all love you so much!!

It’ll be great to see how to balance your hormones to better skin problems

#120 Dave on 12.14.09 at 12:33 pm

I have been following you for a while now. I would appreciate an article or video on mature acne or why the elderly would still get acne and how to prevent it. Thanks.

#121 Kate on 12.14.09 at 12:37 pm

Your openness and advice have improved my skin and my life and have changed the way I eat, think and feel. I feel closer than ever to my first real makeup free day in 13 years! I’d love to hear your advice for making that final transition from better skin to personal best. And thank you for everything you’ve done, you’re always there when I need you!

Hi Fran, thank you for your blog and for all the helpful information you give us.

I’d like to hear more about foods that help or hurt anxiety and depression. Also I’d like to hear about anything you know about balancing hormones, do I have to feel like crap for certain days of the month/break out or is there some supplements I can take to make pms less extreme?

Thanks again for all you do!

#124 Sarah on 12.14.09 at 12:44 pm

I would love to know your thoughts on Retin-A for acne. I have been using it for the past couple of months & eatings lots of fresh fruit & vege & it seems to be doing wonders for my skin. Do you think Retin-a is OK to use?

#125 Darcy Shaw on 12.14.09 at 12:45 pm

I would really appreciate if you could make videos/write about how to break free from the social barriers of acne, also how you can overcome acne in the most simplest easiest way, also about lifestyle acne.

#126 Serena on 12.14.09 at 12:45 pm

I’m interested in adrenal fatigue and its connection with acne. And I’m always interested in nutrition-related articles - foods that help heal skin problems and foods that may aggravate them.

#127 Renee on 12.14.09 at 12:45 pm

More healthy (easy) recipes. Hyperpigmentation procedures such as microdermabrasion and what you think of it (does it work? Are there alternative ways to produce the same effect?).

#128 sherri on 12.14.09 at 12:46 pm

i am liking what i have read so far but would also like info on healing the scars, not only the horrid physical ones but the sickening psychological ones, the ones that won’t let you out of the house for fear of the stares!!!!

#129 Simone on 12.14.09 at 12:46 pm

Hi Fran,

Firstly, thank you for your informative site. There is honestly nothing else like it on the web! A topic i’d love you to cover next year is maintaining good health in an unhealthy society. Being a bit of a ‘health nut’ myself, I feel that i constantly have to change my behaviour to fit in with others. Healthy people are often ridiculed for not following the norm i.e. not drinking heavily, not eating take away etc. I’d also love to hear more on how to maintain a healthy diet without loosing too much weight. Like you, i am naturally thin and would love to learn more about what i should be eating to increase my weight without having to eat garbage. Thanks again.

#130 Sharon on 12.14.09 at 12:47 pm

I would like to see you do a video showing how to care for skin from the neck down. Such as feet, elbows, knees and hand care.

Thanks.

#131 Cara P. on 12.14.09 at 12:47 pm

I would love for you to write about the acid mantle of the skin and the detergents that we find in manufactured cleansers & even moisturizers that compromise our skin’s protective barrier.
I’d also love to know how to follow your program on a VERY tight budget. Just had my first child & things are very tight… so it’s stress upon stress which is obviously not helping with my acne issues :-/

~Cara

#132 Jess on 12.14.09 at 12:47 pm

I would like to you to write about natural, effective treatments for clearing blackheads and reducing enlarged pores. Thanks for the great blog!

#133 John on 12.14.09 at 12:52 pm

Hi Fran,
Thanks for all of your valuable research!
I think we could all benefit from a better understanding of how to diagnose what causes our acne. Also, it would be nice to know how to treat
acne on a tight budget.

#134 Ashley on 12.14.09 at 12:52 pm

i would love if you would show a very easy yoga routine that you could do in maybe 15-30 minutes every day. It would be great to learn a short simple routine that can help relaxation as well as flexibility. thanks :)

#135 Laura on 12.14.09 at 12:57 pm

Hi! I recently read about a chinese traditional skin treatment called “pearl powder” and I was wondering if you heard about it..and what your opinions about it are? Thanks so much for all the information you have shared with all of us!!!! :)

#136 Nabilla on 12.14.09 at 12:57 pm

Hi Fran,

Wow so many entries! it must be tough for you to pick one!

What I would like to see you blog about next year would perhaps be natural herbal supplements that we could take to heal acne, support clear skin and prevent premature ageing as well as some Asian inspired recipes for healthy skin!

#137 Sophia on 12.14.09 at 12:58 pm

I always enjoy your recipes for homemade natural skincare. I find those very helpful.

Also, I’ve always wanted to just use a pure oil as a facial moisturizer, but I never know which kind to get. A review on different types of oils would be great. You know, Coconut, Grape seed, Olive, Jojoba, etc. Maybe just which ones you think are best for which skin type, how to prepare them…that sort of thing.

Oh! And one more thing! It’d be really cool if you could do something about natural makeup.

Thank you so much for your videos, they’ve helped me a lot in my journey to clear skin, and overall health :)

#138 Misha on 12.14.09 at 12:59 pm

Hi Fran! Happy end of the year!
You’ve covered so many topics, so my requests are more of some of the same. I’d love to hear more in-depth information on the benefits of hemp and neem in their various forms for skin and general health, as you’ve mentioned both recently. I also enjoyed your multivitamin post and would love to read in one post about specific vitamins and minerals that support healthy skin.
Thanks and hope you are well.

#139 Amanda on 12.14.09 at 12:59 pm

Hey Fran,

Could you talk more about how to manage teenage/hormonal acne?

#140 SaMANTHA on 12.14.09 at 1:00 pm

I WANT TO SEE YOU EXPERIMENT WITH KOMBUCHA TEA. i FIND ORIGINAL KOMBUCHA TEA TO BE THE ONLY THING THAT GENTLY AND DEEPLY PURGES MY PORES SO I CAN HAVE CLEAR SKIN. I JUST DISCOVERED THIS IN 2009 AFTER BATTLING ACNE FOR 10 YEARS.

#141 Nicolas on 12.14.09 at 1:00 pm

I would like for you to talk about if like someone touches your face if it causes more acne or like if sweaters and clothing garmets may induce the production of acne.

#142 Elana on 12.14.09 at 1:01 pm

Hi Fran,
I would like to hear more about personally testing products to find one that works. How long is a good time to test out a product and the difference between purging and allergies.
Thanks,
Elana

#143 Emma-Rose on 12.14.09 at 1:02 pm

Dear Fran,
I thank you for all your wonderful information on how to treat acne. I am 47 and had hormonal acne for most of my adult life. My daughter is also dealing with teenage acne. Something that I think would be really good to talk about on your website would be the connection between acne and the condition called candida. We have had the fortune of finding out, through our terrific naturopath/GP, that candida or candidiasis has been a major contributor to our problems. Also being defficient in both vitamin D and chromium, which are vitally important.
Keep up the great work.
Emma-Rose.

#144 kricket on 12.14.09 at 1:05 pm

Hi Fran. I would love to learn more about different internal conditions that can result in acne. I recently got some medical tests done which revealed some imbalances within my body (adrenal fatigue, low serotonin, severe yeast allergy likely stemming from candida overgrowth). Through my own research it seems these imbalances often occur together. I would like to learn more about these different conditions, how they play a role in acne, and how to best heal yourself. Thank you Fran!! Blessings and Merry Christmas!

#145 Stephanie on 12.14.09 at 1:12 pm

Hi Fran,
I have dry skin as well as persistent acne, and I would like to find a way to moisturize my face, without using harsh methods or chemical-ridden moisturizers. So I would love to get your input in an upcoming video about natural ways to moisturize - that won’t further aggravate the skin of acne sufferers. Thanks!

#146 Tara on 12.14.09 at 1:13 pm

Although I’ve tried to take you advice as much as possible I’m still struggling to clear my skin naturally and one thing I would like to hear more about is finding the root cause of your acne. I realize you’ve written and blogged about this before but I’m still searching for an answer.
I hope you end up doing your coaching program again since I missed out on signing up for the first one. I suppose that’s another thing I’d like to hear about. How is it going and although it’s still in the early stages have people had any success?

#147 Cindy on 12.14.09 at 1:13 pm

What’s left? You cover almost everything thoroughly. I’d love to see what different women in different countries use and what is effective in different cultures. A good excuse to do some travel for your research. :)

Thanks and happy holidays.

#154 Candace on 12.14.09 at 1:19 pm

Hello Fran,

I have learned a lot from your high on health website. I first learned about you on YouTube. I watched a video you posted on Bee Yummy Skin Food. I have been using it since March 2009. It is fabulous! I use it every day.

OK, now for the question at hand. I am in much need of information on how to remove acne scars. I have suffered from acne since I was a teenager. I am now 30 and have found a way to greatly minimize my acne breakouts. I still have acne, but it is very much under control at this time. I never have more than a few active bumps on my face at a time. However, I suffered from acne on my chest for a period in my life. When I was about 23 I got a cyst on my chest-in the center of my chest. That cyst never completely went away. It left behind an unsightly little brown bump.

I would truly like to know about treatments/procedures I could have done to remove it. It prevents me from wearing cute little tops because I don’t want to reveal my imperfection to the world. Please don’t think that it is some massive bump, because it is not (I will send you a photo if you would like). But the bump definitely prevents me from wearing many tops and dresses that I would like to wear. It bothers me greatly.

I am making a career transition to becoming a pilates instructor, and I would love to wear different shirts as a current student of pilates and future teacher.

I am sure there are many others like me out there. I would be very thankful if you could post some advice on this topic.

Thanks for all that you do!

Kindest regards,

Candace

#160 Tina on 12.14.09 at 1:31 pm

Hi Fran,
Could you do a post on which kinds of scrubs are best for sensitive skin? I find that the sandy ones are most effective, but I’ve heard that they may cause wrinkles in the long run.

#161 Aaron B on 12.14.09 at 1:31 pm

Hi Fran, I have been wondering all the time what type of steps you went through when you had your bad cystic acne. Or any before and after steps just to give people motivation that following your steps will prove to reduce or make acne disappear.

#162 Rachael on 12.14.09 at 1:33 pm

It would be cool if you could include what you eat on an average day, and recipes and ideas for vegeterian meals. Also what supplements you reccomend and where you can get them from! :D

Hi Fran,
Thank you so much for all that you put into this site, for taking the time to share what you’re learning on your own journey. I would love to see more about diet and acne, especially about raw foods, and how long it takes before dietary changes begin to show results in your skin. I love your videos. Thanks again!

Seasons greetings Fran! For the new year I’d like to hear more about how we can prevent comedones and what are some of the topical treatments that get rid of those nasty plugs. Also, are there any natural face mask recipes that you’ve tried which have transformed your skin for the better?
A happy new year to highonhealth!

#168 April on 12.14.09 at 1:39 pm

Hi Fran!
I’d love for you to blog on other types of acne/skin-friendly makeup other than mineral makeup in the new year (if they even exist..hahaha!). I really like to wear makeup but I can’t seem to find anything that doesn’t irritate my skin and/or make me breakout (even a really fantastic organic mineral makeup when applied with clean brushes…). Thanks for your blog! I’m a huge fan :)

#169 fazia on 12.14.09 at 1:40 pm

hi Fran, your website is great! I love watching your videos. Great Info so far!.. I would like you to write/show a step by step food/diet program which helps with the hormonal and other acne problems..a bit more on diabetes and acne.. that’s an area which not too many people explored thus far..Candida and recurring yeast infections and acne relations if they are possibly connected.
I think that will be some great area to explore.
Thanks for all your help and dedication to the acne sufferer!
Happy Holidays!

#171 Theresa on 12.14.09 at 1:42 pm

Hi Fran,

First of all thank you for all the care and thoughtfulness you put into your site. I loved the link on Stop Picking On Me - boy could I relate. I am in my 40’s and I just got over a bad case of hormonal acne. It would be great if you would write about natural products that you could use for acne that also helps wrinkles.
Thank you for all the encouraging comments. I feel like I am e-mailing a friend.

Theresa

#172 Paul on 12.14.09 at 1:44 pm

Fran please continue investigating the critical link between a person’s spiritual condition and their physical condition. Not religion neccesarily, but being loving and forgiving like Jesus taught is not just important to your emotionsbut your health! Talking about this mind body connection is the most important thing you have done with high on health. Having experienced the link yourself, and being apart from traditional medicine, you are in a unique position to make such claims.

#173 Olivia on 12.14.09 at 1:46 pm

Hi Fran,
For your next video I would really apreciate it if you could talk about natural jewelry, herbal perfumes, or skin care regimes for specific skin types and/or hair types… :) Thanks for all of your help. Were all in this battle together and best of luck to whoever wins the prize… :3

#174 Emily on 12.14.09 at 1:48 pm

I’d actually like to see a blog about not stressing when you get one or two pimples. I’ve just gotten over my acne, and when one or two pimples pop up, I panic and think its coming back. It can be really upsetting. Also, I’d like to know if there are any natural ways to get rid of acne scars. Thanks!

#175 Jon on 12.14.09 at 1:48 pm

Hi Fran
I would like you yo talk more about the male aspect of acne. How ea can seek out natural medicine and elements of male health linked to hormonal imbalance. You talk a lot about female hormonal imbalance, naturally because you are a female and have experienced this yourself to some extent. However, i feel that the web page would better sere both genders if this aspect was included within the male domain of acne as well.
Good luck to you and happy holidays

Jon

Foods that you would actually put on your acne, instead of eating it.
thanks !

Hi Fran, I’d love you to talk more about raw food/recipes - easy, quick and super tasty food(that still makes you feel great and keeps your skin looking great too).

Happy Holidays to you too !

I’d love to see a video on hormomal female adult acne, and how acne changes as a woman ages. How it’s affected by our cycles, as well as childbirth and menopause. I’m especially interested in acne for women over 40 … so little is out there now.

Thank you for your guidance and inspiration : )

#189 Ava on 12.14.09 at 2:08 pm

Fran-first off, I would just like to say that I think you are such a beautiful person, both inside and out! And I mean that whole-heartedly! I think it would be great if you could make a video on your favorite natural products that you use on a daily basis (bodywash, deoderant, makeup, perfume, etc), also if you can talk about juicing to help detox the body and clear acne. Thanks and warms wishes and a Merry Christmas to you and everyone else who supports you!

Great site. I would love to see more articles on hormonal acne. And more recipes (I love food! :) )

#191 Christine on 12.14.09 at 2:11 pm

Hey!

Great website! It would be great if you talked about make-up, particularly foundations. I’m always confused about which foundations are good (liquid or powder?!) and the specific brands.

Thanks for everything you do!

Christine

#192 Roxana on 12.14.09 at 2:13 pm

Hi fran, I would love to hear you blog, or talk about makeup and what ingredients to avoid, thanks!

#193 Hanbin on 12.14.09 at 2:14 pm

Hey Fran,
I would love it if you made an actual video of your daily routine or your weekly routines to treat your face to make it look the way it does. (aspecific step by step.

Thank you so much for all the other informations!

#194 ReSHONDA Parker on 12.14.09 at 2:16 pm

Hi Fran! I would love for you to address acne and dark marks on African American skin and skincare for women of any race who are over the age of 20! I am 32 and i am for the first time in my life having to deal with acne and dark marks. There is not a lot of talk about these subjects and i am so tired of looking and finding things that only address teenagers. I love what you are doing to help so many who have struggled for years! Thanks and keep up the awesome work :).

#195 Emily on 12.14.09 at 2:16 pm

getting rid of blackheads already present, and dealing with large pores…

#196 Helen on 12.14.09 at 2:17 pm

maybe recipes for natural homemade products, like face masks, etc.?

#197 Alaina on 12.14.09 at 2:22 pm

I think your site & everything you are doing is wonderful. Anymore information on female hormonal acne would be most helpful. Also, best ways to eat when you are in a rush & don’t have time or money to spend in the organic markets.

#198 Deb on 12.14.09 at 2:24 pm

Hi Fran - I would like to know your thoughts on soy and the controversy of it’s link to breast cancer. I am a vegetarian and get a lot of protein from soy…is this something we should really be concerned about? In addition, I too (as Michelle said above) would love to hear more about balancing hormones naturally to clear hormonal acne…BCP are just not an option for everyone and it seems there should be a “natural” way to do this.
Thanks Fran!

#199 Danielle on 12.14.09 at 2:26 pm

I would like for you to help us learn ways do deal with depression that comes with acne :( along with cover up that works the best with how to pick regiments out that fit us personally.

Thanks i read your blog everyday, Merry Christmas to you!

#200 Tami on 12.14.09 at 2:30 pm

Hi!
I love your site and it really does help lift my spirits when I’m feeling especially down about my acne. It’d be interesting to read about stress-related acne, and/or acne in women as they get older, especially if they didn’t have it in their typical teen years

#201 Edwina on 12.14.09 at 2:32 pm

I wouldn’t mind seeing a review of a product called Vilantae. I think it’s some sort of vitamin/mineral supplement. It’s advertised as all-natural, with minimal side effects, and “second only to Roaccutane in terms of effectiveness”. I’d like to know if it lives up to the hype.

#202 Cristina on 12.14.09 at 2:36 pm

Hey, Fran. I could use some tips about how to lessen acne scars. I’ve been looking into essential oils and of course, lemon juice, but it would be great to hear about other, possibly obscure, methods to get rid of those embarassing ripples. Now that I’m getting older I realize that while acne sucks, scars and wrinkles suck worse!

#203 Katie on 12.14.09 at 2:37 pm

I like how your blog has your personal experiences and “transformation” you’ve been going through. it is very inspiring. more on this subject would be rad :)

#204 Sarah on 12.14.09 at 2:37 pm

I would love some more information on what makes a “natural” product necessarily good for our skin.
I’ve been thinking a lot on advertising that dupes us into thinking products are “natural” when they are really hiding bad chemicals inside. On the same note, what makes a natural ingredient good for our skin. Although there are undoubtedly A LOT of natural products great for our skin… there are obviously “natural” ingredients that could do a lot of harm.

#205 Liz D on 12.14.09 at 2:37 pm

Hey!
Talk about if different places in the world can help or make your acne worse. For example my sister had bad acne moved across the country and now has a great skin!!
Thanks great work!

Hi Fran,

I would love to find out more about hormonal imbalance and some natural alternatives that can help with that. Being in my early thirties, I notice most of my acne appears during the certain time of month. Especially along the jawline and chin area.
Thanks! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!!!

Hey Fran,
Like many others on here I absolutley adore your website as well, I would love for you to do a video on how to stay away from junk food( what to say to yourself what to do) and how to slowly turn bad junk food habits around and also more recipes on healthy food! ( your pasta video was great!) Also I think maybe you should interview some dermatologists for us and see what they have to say about acne scars or any other tips they could reveal.
Thanks so much!

#212 Jarred on 12.14.09 at 2:50 pm

Hi Fran. bless you for the work that you do. I would like to know more on balancing the digestive and endocrine system to prevent breakouts. (I have pcos) With nutrition, herbs, positive visualization, etc. I have a really hard time sticking with a low glycemic diet, so maybe some tips on beating food addictions too?

#217 Lisa on 12.14.09 at 2:59 pm

#219 Jude on 12.14.09 at 3:00 pm

Hi Fran,
I’d like to know more about careful but effective exfoliation for sensitive skin and how much is too much in terms of skin-care products as part of a skin-care regimen.
Thank-you!

#220 Jane on 12.14.09 at 3:07 pm

Hi Fran, I would like to know more about how we can prevent both aging and acne.

#221 Jet on 12.14.09 at 3:13 pm

Hi..I would like to see more recipes for acne sensitive skin, and perhaps some info. for vegans on consuming good, reliable sources of non-soy based protien. Thanks…

#222 Hannah on 12.14.09 at 3:14 pm

hmm… since it’s winter here in Scotland, it would be really great to get tips on how to take care skin from getting dry and lifeless. Also, on how to minimize pore size. Thank you ^_^

On another note, I just want to thank you for your advices cos it helps me to clear out my skin. I’ve been doing the wrong things on my skin since I hit puberty and thus worsen the conditions. I started adopting little bits of your advice early this year and simply let go of my obsession to ‘eradicate’ my acne and pimples haha. So in June I started to use only a miessence cleanser and also make my own facial oil. I have to say taking time to massage your face daily does help to promote good blood circulation and its relaxing as well.

#223 Specs on 12.14.09 at 3:19 pm

I’ve a wedding date set in April so I’d love some advice on how to hide the black scars that form when one doesn’t even touch that pimple! Plus any tips that will help with preventing breakouts in the warm sunny April months with silk and fancy materials that a bride wears…. A vid on balancing the endocrine system will also be much appreciated!

I’ve been a reader of your blog since ages and its good to see how much its progressed!! :-)

#224 sharon on 12.14.09 at 3:20 pm

Perhaps talk about foods that will bring the natural balance out in the skin which helps it maintain the right balance to help control ance, pimples etc

#225 Kelly on 12.14.09 at 3:22 pm

Wow! What a great gift package! How nice of you, Fran! Your blog is so interesting and helpful. I adopted the baking soda exfoliant tip right away and was completely amazed. I’m hooked. I suppose I’d be interested in finding out more about controlling hormonal acne, although my “hormonal” acne has drastically improved with diet changes, increased water intake and less obsessive picking (facial sabbotage). Thanks so much!

#226 sarah on 12.14.09 at 3:24 pm

I would like to hear more about making your own beauty products and using nature as skin care. I also like it when you trial these and let us know the results!

#227 alyssa on 12.14.09 at 3:41 pm

I would love to hear more about your battle with acne and and tips you might have that you think helped you get rid of it !

#228 Tavish on 12.14.09 at 3:47 pm

Hey Frann-
I’ve really enjoyed your High on Health series! It has made such a huge difference in the way my skin looks. For 2010 I would like to see more tips and tricks for keeping positive even if your face isnt exactly where you want it to be yet. Skin products and diet are super important but I think a positive attitude is too! Keeping a skincare routine or making healthy choices was the easy part for me..the hardest part was staying positive and trying to psyche myself into BELIEVING that my acne would go away instead of hoping that it would.
I know you’ve included things like this in some of your previous posts/videos but it would be nice to see a little more. They’re very nice reminders =)

#229 Heidi on 12.14.09 at 3:58 pm

i would love it if you could do a video focusing on food and nutrition and how it effects your skin! go really in depth.. it’d be awesome.. i know you’ve done some before but i think there could be a lot more to it… it’d be great!!
thanks!

#230 jasmine on 12.14.09 at 4:17 pm

It would be interesting to know more about types of facial treatments available (in facial therapy centres) and whether it is effective. Comments on the products used in such centres and prices will be helpful too.

#231 jasmine on 12.14.09 at 4:22 pm

i think you should write about hair why some people suffer from falling out hair and even teens and how to fix this problem, what to eat and ect.

#232 Jasmine on 12.14.09 at 4:23 pm

1) what natural makeup to use (not just mineral cover-up as you’ve discussed before, but mascara & other things too!)

2) MORE about foods to eat, and easy skin-happy recipes to follow! and raw foods!

3) more about how to deal with acne for those who also have dry flaky skin.

thanks for your wonderful blog Fran, i’ve been reading for over a year now. and i’ve bought tons of stuff from your site already. my skin is NOTICEABLY better. the best & most priceless advice i’ve gotten from this site yet is the use of apple cider vinegar. it’s the ONLY thing that has cleared my chest acne, and for that i’m so grateful because i feel comfortable in a bathing suit again.

-your canadian reader.

#233 Eva on 12.14.09 at 4:24 pm

I would greatly appreciate if you spoke more about the types of food that we can eat that will not only help us with our acne, but also overall physical health.

#234 John on 12.14.09 at 4:25 pm

I would love it if you could talk about other skin problems like psoriasis. I have been looking for natural products to help with psoriasis but they are hard to find. I love your acne videos they are great. Keep up the great work!!! Can’t wait to see what videos you will have up in the new year!!

#235 jasmine on 12.14.09 at 4:27 pm

I like this site and it was really helpful. I think you should make a video about how to make masks from fruits and veggies and for what they are helpful. But most of all i think you should write about falling hair and how to fix it. I know lots of teens that suffer from this and i think this would be a good chance to answer those questions. Thank you.

#241 Kattie on 12.14.09 at 4:54 pm

I would like it if next year you would write or do videos on more products,an extensive review of each product out there, the pros and cons. I have tried over 50 facial products all making me break out and I have wasted so much money on all of them. I cant seem to still find a regime that makes me not break out. :( I have adult acne and all through my chin and bottom portion which shows so much that I have to wear tons of make up and am embarrassed that I am 31 and having acne, cystic ones when by this age I should be acne free. I wish I had a great product to help me reduce this and also help me with my scars. Thank you.

#242 kaye on 12.14.09 at 4:56 pm

hi there fran…
your site is just so awesome…i am currently curing my picking habit…and your tips really did help….i am moving on to a totally new climate… so i was wondering if you could give tips on how to adjust on my skin regime…coz i used to live in a tropical country…where i usually get breakouts due to my skin’s oily state…but i am now moving to a very cold climate country (CANADA) which is entirely different from my country (PHILIPPINES) any suggestion or tips would be greatly appreciated on how your skin can cope up to a different climate so as not to harsh your skin…due to climate change…thanks and more power

#243 Lou on 12.14.09 at 5:00 pm

I think it would be a great thing for you to continue posting about your experiences and discoveries as you follow your spiritual path. A holistic approach is, other than logical and natural,.. whole. Your area of passion is natural skincare, which you enhance through everything you do!
This would help others see the interconnectedness between all things, and gently loosen some walls that many people build around acne and skin conditions. Helping to free others from self-created boundaries, and inviting them to experience life with a heart opened is truly one of the most beneficial qualities a person can be blessed with.
‘Follow your heart’ is not just something people say.. it’s the whole(istic!) journey :)

#244 Roy on 12.14.09 at 5:03 pm

Hi Fran, firstly I would just like to say like to thank you for your course and your helpful advice. But I was wondering if you could do a video to discuss if this course suits other skin conditions like eczema?

Hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year!!!

Thank you

Roy

#245 Julia on 12.14.09 at 5:16 pm

You could maybe talk about backacne and chest-acne and how to deal with that?

#246 Lori on 12.14.09 at 5:18 pm

I think organic solutions for teens and young adults are great. How about natural product for those of us that are over 40? I would like to see a concentration of masks for all ages. Getting back to nature, some with yoga and us being able to make all or some of our own skin care. More of the same good diet, supplements and the best products that we can find. I know it would be difficult but getting us all together, learning new things would be awesome…

#247 Samantha on 12.14.09 at 5:22 pm

Hey Fran,
I absolutely love hearing about your philosophies on better living and having a more fulfilling, beautiful life. I also LOVE your products recommendations for skin, hair, body care, etc. as well as healthy food recommendations. Maybe you could even think about creating your own skin/food products? If anyone could, it would be you and i know many people who would definitely buy from you! =) hehe just an idea! Thanks for being such a beautiful person, and Happy Holidays!! Take Care! =)

Hi, I would like to see some videos on the health of your liver and kidneys. It would also be good to see videos on the effects of emotions on the health of the skin. Thanks for a great site.

#251 George on 12.14.09 at 5:46 pm

Hi Fran! I love your blog! It’s been really helpful since I followed a link to it on one of your YouTube videos. It’s nice to see someone as determined to attack acne as you are - and, to do so honestly and openly - and to know that others are experiencing the same amount of embarrassment, depression, anxiety, and frustration that I am. Just realizing that, in and of itself, has done wonders for my psyche. But, there’s still a long way to go. Unfortunately.

Anyway, something I’d like to learn more about is how acne forms. Or, more specifically, how LONG it takes for blackheads/whiteheads/cysts/etc. to form.

I’ve been searching for this vital piece of information for months, and every time it seems like I’ve discovered a definitive answer, I come across another website/blog that tells me something completely different, yet maintains the same level of confidence as the other source. So, I’m left wondering: which one is it?!!

It’s so incredibly frustrating not knowing how long it takes for acne to manifest! I’ve heard every conceiveable amount of time from 2 weeks, to 3 months, to 6 weeks, to 6 months, and I’m starting to think no one knows the answer to this important question.

So if you could somehow answer this question in the next few months - prize pack, or no prize pack - that’d be really awesome.

Right now my face is really breaking out and I have no idea if this is a natural purge - it’s been 2 months now - or, if I’m doing something wrong and it’s contributing to my skin condition. And I think a lot of people find themselves in the same predicament.

Anyway, this “comment”, lol, has been long enough. Take care and keep up the great work!

#252 Bear on 12.14.09 at 5:47 pm

Hi Franc,

Firstly, I would like to read more information about the relationship between food and acne. What are the foods that cause acne and the ones that are good for acne. And why some cause acne.

Secondly, the skincare products you have introduced to us so far are very unique in that they are not found in common stores. Many of us did not know the products in your store until they read your blogs. Therefore I will be looking forward to your discovery of many more natural and healthy products in the year ahead.

Wish you a merry and healthy holiday.

I love your blog and I see I’m not alone!

It would be wonderful to see how you experience the raw food diet and how you feel it impacts the health of your skin. Maybe even a challenge that we can join for a set time period. I think so often we give up right before we see real results. Doing something together might help some of us.

Thanks for your great supportive and positive vibes!!!!

Thank you.

Thanks

#261 Roechelle on 12.14.09 at 6:57 pm

Hi Fran,

love you and you blog xxxx

More metaphysical stuff…the core issue. I know that it is hard to go there as there is so much resistance from us as it hits a nerve. I have just been on such a journey of self love and my skin is so much clearer…. as you know I own a skin care store however it is soooo much more. Clear skin from within!! Our body gives as signs of resistance and we need to start listening to the messages.

I dare you to go there!!

Merry Christmas, Cheers Roechelle

#262 Lori on 12.14.09 at 7:00 pm

I love all of your videos. I too am intersted in health and my skin. Thankyou for all the info you have given us to be able to better our health. Because you want to help people, makes you a truly beautiful person. I would like to see videos about what you think of juicing. Videos about detoxing and some videos with recipes.

#263 Deck on 12.14.09 at 7:02 pm

The thing I would like for you to talk about next year would definitely be supplements and their effect on acne because honestly there is too much contradicting information.

Kind regards,

Deck

#264 Jessica S on 12.14.09 at 7:04 pm

Hi Fran :)

I would love to know more about lactose intolerance, and other dairy alternatives to ice-cream and chocolate. I’ve recently developed an intolerance & ever since I’ve stopped consuming it I don’t get the large cysts I used to (yet, the ever so expensive dermatologist I saw friday insists that I should start taking roaccutane).
Anyway, I’m finding it hard to satisfy the occasional chocolate craving! Are there any dairy free chocolate or ice-cream alternatives which can be found in Australia?

I’d also love love love for you to write/talk about how stress and other emotions can affect acne. And if being around cigarette smokers can aggravate acne problems?

Thanks for all your great articles, they’ve helped me so much!
Merry Christmas xo

#265 nurul on 12.14.09 at 7:09 pm

i think you should write more on the psychological & environmental aspect affecting breakouts. and videos/testimonial from real acne-sufferers of how they deal with it. (:

#266 efia on 12.14.09 at 7:13 pm

please enter me ….what a great giveaway…. I love how it is at the moment and what interest me the most is the easy basic remedies….the things you can do at home with easily available ingredients….and also how to heal yourself from within and from your lifestyle….

#267 Niamh on 12.14.09 at 7:16 pm

Hi Fran, thanks for all the information you provide and the hard work you do in researching it. It’s much appreciated.

I think it would be good to learn more about how a holistic lifestyle can create overall health (that includes the prevention of acne or other skin problems) so that people with acne can realise that it is not so much certain products that can heal them (thereby preventing dependency on external things) but their own way of being, and the attitude to life they choose every morning when they wake! (which includes eating nourishing foods, being more aware of harmful chemicals in products, wanting get lots of exercise and fresh air and sunshine, not solely because it will cure your acne but because it makes you feel great).

I find that in trying to find the less obvious blessings that come with acne, like having to find other more hidden things that are beautiful about yourself that you wouldn’t normally notice if you didn’t have to, actually helps restore your innate vital balance: and this is deeply healing and restorative and nourishing to your spirit. And the bonus is that it naturally lessens your acne, because you are not so stressed out by focusing on the negative but are embodying the positives in your life, one day at a time!

You do a lot of this anyway, which I really appreciate, but more in this area would be great!

Hope you have a lovely Christmas!

#268 Nandu on 12.14.09 at 7:33 pm

Hi Fran…

I would like you to give us the perfect cure of acne which is caused due to irregular periods because thats one of the most important aspect for us.

#269 Lauren on 12.14.09 at 7:35 pm

Hi
I’d like you to write more about a healthy skin diet and how to stick to it (i.e. what to definitely avoid, what to replace it with, what to choose if you have to eat out etc.). I know you have information already about the best kinds of food but I would like more advice on how to fit them into my diet more easily - maybe a sample diet plan?
Thank you!

#270 Lauren on 12.14.09 at 7:42 pm

Hi Fran, Thank you for all of your advice thus far. It will take determination but I’m hoping my skin will improve by following your very helpful suggestions.

As for the competition, I would like to learn more about biodynamic skincare and food produce and how these can impact upon skin condtions and our psychological well being.

Being spiritually in tune with nature and reaping the fruits mother nature provides us each season must have a profound impact upon our general sense of well being. This surely cannot be tied down to western philosophy alone and it would be interesting to get international opinions on biodynamic practices, skin care and food products too.

Seasons greetings in the meantime!

#271 Ludwika on 12.14.09 at 7:43 pm

Hi Fran!
First of all, I would like to thank you for making such a great site with useful and helpful tips (i’ve already tried some of them out and they’ve realy helped my skin).
Maybe you could tell more about home made recipes with simple ingredients for skincare from within and outside. I would also love to hear about how psychological issues can affect your acne.
Thank you!

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! :)

#272 Marie on 12.14.09 at 7:51 pm

Some tips on how to deal with bodyacne (that I’m suffering with for over 10 years now), would be fantastic.
While reading through the comments I noticed some other people dealing with the same thing, maybe we can form a group and test a product/method/diet each and give you our results to post to your community of readers. I would definitely be up to that!

Merry Christmas to you!

#273 Elisa on 12.14.09 at 8:01 pm

Hi Fran,

I have had acne for about 10 years now and it has really affected my self esteem. I feel like I have tried everything to make my skin better but no help.

Lately I’ve been trying to only use natural face care products and I have noticed that my skin is less irritated, so that is good. I have also started taking zinc supplement as you suggested in one of your videos. I would also like to take omega3 but unfortunately the capsules are too big for me to swallow.

So anyway, as I have noticed that changing products doesn’t make that big difference, I would like you to write or make a video about emotions, stress, hormones and/or depression, how they affect the skin condition and how to prevent breaking out when feeling stressed, for example. I myself am a big stresser and think it has made my acne worse and the acne has made my depression worse.

Merry Christmas, it’s really cold here in Finland today : -18 decrees celcius!

#274 Greg on 12.14.09 at 8:04 pm

I’ve found a lot helpful information at your website… It’s really hard to find a thing which haven’t you already analysed. (English’s not my first language ;) Maybe… how to protect you’re skin from air polution, dust, smoke? We live in a dirty ages, in crowded cities. Acne is a disease of Western Civilization. I’ve read that somewhere, on a small island near New Guinea lives tribe (small group of natives) that doesn’t have connection to our World and (what’s important for us :) doesn’t have skin problems, not even one clogged pore.

#275 Tulsi on 12.14.09 at 8:11 pm

Hi Fran,
I would love more articles on yoga! The healthy living entries are my favourites.
Thanks, your blog is awesome,
Tulsi

#276 Selina on 12.14.09 at 8:15 pm

Hi Fran,

Seasons Greetings to you!

It’s hard to think of something you haven’t covered on your site, as you make such an effort to touch on every topic related to acne. I think I would like to see more information in regards to Chinese medicine treating acne as it seems to have played a significant part in helping you with your acne.

I would also love more skincare and make-up products recommendations as even though people who have acne want to be careful with their skin, I know that we girls all still love playing with our look in regards to makeup etc so it would be good to know the comedogenic products to avoid.

That’s all. Here’s to a successful 2010 for you!

Selina

#277 Charlie on 12.14.09 at 8:18 pm

Hi Fran,

Amazing gift to be giving away! I would like you to do more videos about your yoga next year. It is obviously a really large and very positive part of your life now and it would be great to hear about your journey towards becoming a chilled out yogini! : ) I have taken up yoga quite recently and am loving it but I am finding it a little difficult to get into a regular routine with it. Tips on what exercises are easy to do at home or good to do at different times of stress or times of the day etc would be great.

Thank you.

Have a beautiful Christmas and a very happy New Year.

x

#278 Dolly on 12.14.09 at 8:20 pm

Hi Fran,
I would like it if you wrote about acne scarring and some options for making it go away in a safe and reasonably priced way!
Thanks,
Dolly

#279 Isabelle on 12.14.09 at 8:21 pm

It would be helpful to see the results of your coaching on others… not testimonials, but… I’m not sure how you could do it so it’s not cheesy however it’d be nice to see.

A video about birth control/hormone treatments and how they totally throw your body up in the air and only tentatively control your skin issues only for them to come back.

You’ve done a lot of work already. I’m sure that’s why you’re asking the question. A list of all your videos somewhere on the site (although I’m sure you don’t want them all available to everyone) for at least the paying members would be nice, all categorized and such. It’s a thought!

#280 nidhi mittal on 12.14.09 at 8:22 pm

i am very fond of your blog. i want you to write something about skin whitening and anti marks formula. Also add on the treatment for stretch marks.

How to remove acne scars, without laser surgery

#282 Sakeenah on 12.14.09 at 8:42 pm

I think you’ve covered this before but my main problem is acne scarring. The scars never seem to fade away on my face especially my T-zone. Once they start to fade, new acne may erupt anytime. Can you help?

#283 Sandra on 12.14.09 at 8:57 pm

Hi Fran!

I love your blog and the fact that you have such a holistic view of acne and health. I would really like to hear your opinions about how body image is presented in the media and contrast that with reality. I find that health is often associated with beauty, but all too often, the portrayal of beauty in mass media is not a very open or healthy version of it. Good luck and cheers for new year!

#284 Tya on 12.14.09 at 9:07 pm

I’d like you to try and then tell the world how you can get rid of acne by drinking clay.

#285 Nigina on 12.14.09 at 9:08 pm

Hi Dear Fran,
thanks first of all for all the work that you have done for all the acne-sufferers out there. My interest for the next year would be more “holistic”, as you call it. And namely, I would like to know more about the internal causes of acne, such as different yeasts, or intoxicated leaver or kidneys. It has been so important for me, for example, to treat my acne through colon and leaver cleansing. But It took a lot of time for me to figure out that i had a light candidiosis, and that my leaver needed help to be freed from toxins. it is so important to know that there are natural ways to clean the colon, which causes different diseases if we keep it dirty. because the walls of the colon get so blocked that none of the minerals that we are taking are being absorbed. so, it is like a waste of time, money and etc. If the leaver is full of toxins, then everything comes out on the face. Therefore, I would like you to accentuate more the “internal” acne treatment :)
Big hug from cold Germany :)
and a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :)

I would like you to take other peoples storys that you have read and that have worked because of your amazing course and share them with the public.

#287 Mouse on 12.14.09 at 9:15 pm

Hi Fran,

I recently came across your site via youtube and have signed up for the 7 day mini course. I’ve not had chance yet to go through everything on your site (amazing amount of info!) but wondered if you haven’t already covered it, perhaps discuss something or have a section on natural recipes that people can make or try at home (I’m currently using raw aloe vera, straight from the plant, on my face).

Many thanks
Mouse

#288 Libby on 12.14.09 at 9:18 pm

Hiya Fran,

It’s almost our one year anniversary! (Since I discovered your blog, that is.) I am foundation-free, if not entirely makeup-free. Hurrah!

I have always liked your posts about the psychological impact of acne. So many people dismiss it as a frivolous thing to worry about, and laugh at me for saying that it genuinely is something that you think about *all the time* when you’re suffering and that it has a very serious impact on self-confidence. You obviously know what it’s like to feel that way, especially as an adult when you feel very conspicuous for it, and it’s so comforting to read about it from someone who understands. Clear-skinned people laughing at acne sufferers reminds me of the rich kid at a boarding school laughing at the scholarship boy for having scuffed shoes.

Also, any hints on fading marks would be brilliant!

Libby

#289 belen on 12.14.09 at 9:22 pm

Hi there! It would be great if you could cover acne in the more mature skin (late 30s to 40s) and obviously natural ways to tackle it. It would also be useful if you could give some pointers in order to identify whether you are really suffering from acne or from something totally different (rosacea etc.) Again, ways to treat those skin conditions would also be welcome!
Keep up the good work

#290 Lisa Noakes on 12.14.09 at 9:27 pm

I would like to see something in regards to acne and depression. How depression causes acne and how acne causes depression. I have been going through this since August and I am at my wits end!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

#291 Whizee on 12.14.09 at 9:30 pm

The most helpful thing for all us acne-affected people would be if you would continue to provide us with your HONEST & SUCCESSFUL experiences…as you have been doing all along!

Merry Christmas!

#297 Cathy on 12.14.09 at 10:15 pm

Fran, id like you to talk about how we can spread the word about homeopathy and natural skin care. I want everyone to know but can’t convince everyone by myself. Maybe this would make it easier to get fresh organic foods and skin care all around the world.

#298 Patricia on 12.14.09 at 10:24 pm

Hi Fran, I enjoy reading all of your blogs, but recently I started using light therapy with immediate and surprising results. It’s completely natural, safe, and effective, so it’s an ideal system to treat acne with the blue light and the red light (which works wonders when combined with the blue light) has anti-aging benefits. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Keep up the good work!

#299 Felecia Elliott on 12.14.09 at 10:37 pm

Happy Holidays Fran. Thank you for the opportunity to win the amazing gift from your High on Health store. I enjoy everything that you write about and find it very helpful. As an “aging” female (48) who still suffers from acne, I am interested very much in what contributes to the production of sebum and what can be done to impact its overproduction, etc. Also, articles on complete body skincare would be nice. Thank you and Merry Christmas!!! =)

#300 Michelle on 12.14.09 at 10:40 pm

I would love to know a good regimen for keeping my skin soft in the winter. I live in Canada and the winter makes my skin right red and rough.

#303 Veronica Danielsson on 12.14.09 at 10:48 pm

Hi Fran, I really apprechiate what you’re doing, you’re helping alot of people feel better about themselves by giving honest advice, which is pretty rare in this world. wicked. thank you.

I’d like to know more about hormones and acne. I’ve been on strong birth control pills, off and on for the last 3 years or so, they have helped me alot but at the same time I worry about how these hormones affect my mind and body. In a couple of months I will have to replace them for something else, not quite sure what to do. Still don’t know the cause for my breakouts, I’m worried about what will happen when I’m off the pills.

would be great to know more how hormones affect your body etc.

thanks for a great blog. Have a lovely christmas / Veronica

Hello Fran,

I am going to be a first time mommy and I am really excited! But what is not too exciting for me now is I am suffering from pregnancy acne which occurs mostly near my jawline. It will be wonderful if you can share some tips on how to care for my acne because I am afraid of using harsh chemical products now. My skin tend to be more oily too, so hope you can help some of the mommies out here with this problem.

Happy holidays to you and everyone out there! :)

HI Fran, Merry Christmas! I would like to hear more about soap, especially more on bar soap. I personally use it and love it because it’s cheap and it works for me - I know it past blogs you’ve recommended against using it but for those of us with oily skin I think it can actually be good. Also, info on Chinese medicine would be great.

#316 Binal Javia on 12.15.09 at 12:02 am

Hi,

Why don’t you tell us about some simple excercises/ yoga that one can do on daily basis, which not too time consuming and not very difficult, but can help in keeping the skin healthy and clear.

#317 cindy on 12.15.09 at 12:03 am

Hey Fran!
I would like to know more about acne during pregnancy. Some women seem to clear up when pregnant, others tend to break out. I recently had a baby and my skin cleared right up, and now I’m on the look out for acne again. Any insight would be great!

you can encourage more!:)

Hi Fran, I would like to hear about the most common toxins that are present in our bodies from our diets, and how we can eliminate these toxins from our bodies so they no longer affect our skin.

#320 Gill on 12.15.09 at 12:31 am

Hey Fran! I luv the website- it helps me soo much! Especially when i’m feeling low. I’d luv to see you write and blog more about skin picking/squeezing and how destructive it is emotionall and physically etc, ways we can stop too. I really struggle with this.

#321 Jen on 12.15.09 at 12:33 am

Great gift. I hope to be the lucky winner!
Now to the question. What I would love for you to talk more about, is acne and wrinkles. As a almost 40 woman with acne I now find myself battling two problems at once. It seems treatments for wrinkles exacerbate my acne and treatments for acne dry out and worsen wrinkles. 99% of my acne I believe is hormonal, so I guess I would love more info on treating hormonal acne as well. Thanks and Happy Christmas!

#322 amanda jewell on 12.15.09 at 12:45 am

I NEED TO WIN THIS!! I HAVE HAD THE WORST YEAR AND WINNING THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT POSITIVE WAY TO START 2010! NEXT YEAR, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU WRITE SOME STUFF ON ROSACEA AS I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH IT. ACNE ROSACEA IS REALLY DEBILITATING AND YOUR KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE A MUCH APPRECIATED CONTRIBUTION!

#323 Godmadusbeautiful on 12.15.09 at 12:48 am

Hey Fran!

I would really like to see a video about the positive aspects of acne in a person’s life. Sometimes I have a hard time dealing with my skin and leaving the house, but if there was a video for me and many others encouraging them that acne does not make them ugly and that you can actually learn a lot from having acne, I think that would be an incredible Christmas gift to all your readers!

I so enjoy reading your blog and learning new things about my body and health…

May Christ’s overflowing love shower you with blessings this Christmas season!

#330 Masa on 12.15.09 at 1:04 am

Hi, this is really nice giveaway.

I hope that you will write more about how hormones effect acne and different suplements that promise to control hormonal imbalances during pms.
I would also like to know if there are some stomach diseases that affect acne.

#331 Sarah on 12.15.09 at 1:06 am

Hi Fran, Thanks for everything you do. I have struggled with acne for many years. I have such sensitive skin that I cannot use anything on it. I have gotten to the point that I use only water and oils occasioanlly for blackheads. I have cleared a bit but would love to try something to help fight aging, hormonal breakouts, etc. I think a video or info about skin reactions to food (allergies) would be beneficial. Maybe something like which foods are most likely to cause reactions. I have found several myself through elimination and this may benefit others too. THANKS!

#332 Charlotte on 12.15.09 at 1:06 am

Hi Fran, god jul!
- well, Merry Christmas. I love reading your articels, the are so inspiring to me.
A though for next year, could be a video about zinc, and how it can improve acne over time.
Take care :)

#333 Robert on 12.15.09 at 1:08 am

What to write about next year… I love your website and I feel that you have covered quite a lot, but I still would love to get some more information about noncomedogenic ingriedients as the lists you’ve given us are not complete. OR perhaps you could give more reviews for products you think are noncommedogenic and good for us. I followed your advice and I’m using Philosophy cleanser and it works great but things like a moisturizer that’s only available in Australia doesn’t really make me want to buy it before trying (as opposed to having something available locally where I can take a sample first). I can honestly tell you that (at least here in NY) people who read your blog and are busy, like to hear which products in specific are worth checking out. Also, more info on which SPF products/SPF types are good for the skin. I heard that not all SPF are gentle for us with acne prone skin. Also, would love to read more about herbal teas/remedies, and stress management. Thank you for a great website, Fran! Cheers, Rob.

#334 Rachel on 12.15.09 at 1:10 am

Hey Fran,

I’am loving the idea of winning this wonderful package. I love your site and all your topics about acne, I learn so much from you. However I still suffer from acne and would love to learn more nutritious recipes that would work for my acne breakouts as well as healing scars… (they just won’t go away!) :(

#335 Stephanie on 12.15.09 at 1:14 am

Hi Fran,

I love to see more about the relationship between stress and breakouts. My acne is so different when I’m under stress.

#336 Theresa on 12.15.09 at 1:20 am

I would like discussions on alternative cures. For exam, reviews on whether things like accupuncture, or accupressure can actually contribute to improving your skin.

#337 Jason on 12.15.09 at 1:20 am

In all honesty I’d really love it if u could cover what u have in more depth - a more radical and accessible approach.
While the mini-guide is fantastic, I’m sure MANY readers would appreciate if u could extend it to cover the different skin types in detail (with clear pictures and examples of each, even perhaps those submitted from us guys) because I’m still not sure of my own. Pictures would REALLY help for visual confirmation.

And from there u could do a revised edition of the ‘root cause of acne’, with pictures again because im still not sure having read it if im hormonal or have an inflamed liver or candida, an image of each would REALLY help and even a short video description on each.

Then as many people have aforementioned suitable skin care regimens for each. Since most of ur vlogs are from ur own experience of different regimens based on how ur skin reacted, i think by extending the mini-guide or making vlogs in this fashion i.e. braching off from skin types and root causes to specific regimens ppl can interactively identify what skin type they have, the cause and a suitable regimen for them.
I think ppl would appreciate that as I often felt confused and frustrated with the flood of info about different regimens in ur forum and articles.

Also i think it would be cool if u made a video about a trip to a Naturopath and/or a Chinese herbalist to really motivate ppl.

Thankyou so much for ur contributions Fran, I know u get this a lot but u have been such an inspiration and help to me- Your such a wonderful person.
That prize would mean the world to me! Thanks

#338 Derek on 12.15.09 at 1:23 am

Hey Fran,

What about making a couple different lists of the best things someone can do to keep their acne at bay and their skin fresh and healthy. One list could be for more expensive items and the other list could be for those who can’t afford much. There seems to be a lot of great info out there but it would be nice to have a short and sweet “best of” tips pack compiling all the most popular acne prevention tips, etc.

#339 Breanna on 12.15.09 at 1:26 am

Hello Fran,

Thats really nice of you to give away this wonderful prize package. Those cacao beans look delightful, always wanted to try those. As you’ve mentioned before in one of your videos, what you eat has a MAJOR impact on skin health. I would like to see more videos and blogs about what to specifically eat for a healthy system and possible allergy foods that may contribute to acne. Also, what supplements are particularly good in general for skin health? Thank you for your commited work to help us all with our skin!!

#340 Darling on 12.15.09 at 1:35 am

Hi! I’m new to your site but am so glad to have found it! I’m 27 and started my battle with acne at 20– so frustrating!

I’m not sure if you’ve covered this yet but I’d love to know what to do to get rid of residual redness from old acne–

thanks so much!

#341 Virginia on 12.15.09 at 1:43 am

I’d like you to blog about specific skin types, I am unsure of what exactly I am - oily, dry, combination? It depends on the climate and the time of year for me, so I am always confused as to what products I should look for. I also agree that pictures would be fantastic! Thanks for helping so many, I’ve really enjoyed your blog!!!

#342 Ren on 12.15.09 at 1:53 am

Hi Fran!
Thank you so, so much for such wonderful inspiration! I never would have thought I would be eating organic oatmeal with raw cacao nibs, chia seeds and agave every morning :) I used to think oatmeal was the most disgusting thing in the world!

I would definitely like to see videos, especially on product reviews and advice on healthy snacks. Have you heard about “Egyptian Magic”? It’s an olive oil based skin cream that supposedly is good for scar reduction. http://www.egyptianmagic.com/

Thanks again!

#343 Jennie on 12.15.09 at 2:00 am

Hi Fran, I would love if you continue to talk about how to stay balanced in all aspects of life and the mind/body connection- which for all of us here, effects the skin.

#344 Cristina on 12.15.09 at 2:08 am

I like the posts on eating healthfully (vegan, raw, etc.) so you could do some more of those topics. I also love the product recommendations (Bee Yummy Skin Food makes my day, every day!) so keep those coming. Also, the tie-in of our emotional and skin health is interesting to me. Finally, as a (mostly) reformed skin picker, I have a couple deep, round “ice pick” scars - one on my nose and one on my forehead - that just won’t go away and really hurt my self esteem. If you could address those, that would be great.

#345 Rachel on 12.15.09 at 2:16 am

Hi Fran,

I would like for you to talk more about how to get rid of acne scars and what foods/supplements are best to prevent stress and anxiety.

#346 karolina on 12.15.09 at 2:23 am

hey i would like to know more about detoxification [detox], have you tried it? i heard its good for your skin and body. could it be dangerous? what methods are there for a vegetarian willing to try this?

#347 Amanda on 12.15.09 at 2:24 am

Hi Fran! Thanks so much for all your help so far! its been an incredible journey with my skin! I would love to hear you talk about scarring, nutritional diets for preventing acne, redness & solutions for that, and some of the best acne products available at drug stores. Thanks so much again! Happy holidays!

#348 Christina on 12.15.09 at 2:24 am

Hi Fran!

I’m a newcomer to your blog, but I know I’m going to be sticking around for a while. (Your hot chocolate recipe is amazing, by the way!) Since I haven’t had a chance to really scour the page, I’m not sure if these things are already addressed.

1) It would be fantastic if you had a few short cooking videos about how to prepare meals that are really healthy.

2) I really like the way you designed your blog to make it feel like we’re chatting with a friend, but I would love to know more about you as a person and your background in health and skin care!

Thanks so much for your commitment to this blog and your readers!

Happy Holidays!

#349 krissy on 12.15.09 at 2:26 am

Love your website, Fran! Any new information about hormonal acne is always appreciated, as well as product reviews on natural items such as Nature’s Cure. Also, what to look for in a naturopath, I’m looking at going to one, but I’m not sure exactly what qualifications to look for and what to expect once I’m there. Thanks so much, happy holidays!

#350 Belle on 12.15.09 at 2:37 am

I would like you to review and discuss different make-up foundations. So many products claim to help or not exacerbate acne-prone skin… I’d like to know what you find tot be the most natural and best for the skin.

#351 Jennifer on 12.15.09 at 2:37 am

Hi Fran;

I would love to see a blog about some natural remedies/products to help our skin look younger and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.

Thanks. Happy Holidays!

Hi there, please enter me into this giveaway! I’d love to hear you talk about a Fact or Fiction? type of video, where you cover some well-known “facts” about acne, and tell us whether its really true or not. For example linking acne to certain types of food, health practices, skin care products, etc. Thanks!

#353 Tina on 12.15.09 at 2:43 am

I learn so much from this site! I want to learn more about how to control hormonal acne! I’m currently suffering from acne coming from hormones so it would be nice to know what to take to control them without the uses of birth control pills.

#354 Diane on 12.15.09 at 2:59 am

I like both your videos and writen work, but if i had to pick one it would be the writen work as you put down your skincare ideas and recipies for different products which are helpful, it also helps when you recomend products.

happy holidays

I love your website! It has been such a wonderful resource for me so thank you so much! Recently, I have stumbled upon Carley’s Clear and Smooth, which can be found at https://www.clearandsmoothskin.com/index.php. Great giveaway! I have tried Live Live products and love them, and I would love to try the other ones mentioned. I have been struggling with skin problems for many many years and have been enjoying reading your blog. It is nice to know I am not alone!

I like to learn more about product reviews. I have tried everything in the book and not sure if I am missing something a product that would help. Also more on stress and acne, in addition to emotional help when dealing with white heads, scars, etc. I just get so embarrassed that I never what to leave my house. So any tips on covering up acne would be great too. Thanks!

#366 Ashley De Leon on 12.15.09 at 4:09 am

Hello Fran, I think it’s be a good idea to do a small article about how some hair products my affect you acne(people that do many wet styles using gels, greasy leave in conditioners etc), and possible natural substitutes for such. Also you could talk about recognizing some “stages”or different types of acne like you have already, but letting people know how to treat and manage each( ex. XY:these are more potent to be infected if picked on, whiteheads: at which time of “maduration”it can be picked on in order to remove the zit without leaving a mark on the skin, and also it is easier for the pore to close. Things like that. Have a good Christmas! :)

#367 Nicole on 12.15.09 at 4:14 am

Happy Holidays,

I would love to hear more about the usage of burdock for the skin - have you tried it? it works great internally and externally but I don’t know why it does. Especially for cystic acne, a strong tea of burdock root can reduce the swelling in a day. Also, anything more about detoxing in a way that doesn’t overload your skin all at once? Thanks for all your great info!!

#368 agnei on 12.15.09 at 4:19 am

Oh, wow, so many comments :)))

I am interested in the hemp oil review, food recipes and maybe you could write about chest and back acne? For me it is a difficult issue.
Thanks Fran and all the beautiful for Xmas!

#369 Saskia on 12.15.09 at 4:24 am

Hi Fran!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
You could use some advice on topics, I hear?

Well how about more recipes, dairy and wheat-free,
I’m having trouble with this you see.
Also how to gain some weight with a diet like that,
cause I would love to put on some fat!

Info on acne and a leaky gut would be great,
I really messed up my colon with what I ate!
As in, what can cause this and what can we do,
yeah I’ld really love to hear that from you!

And how can we know which naturopath is reliable,
cause there are many out there who are just horrible!
I think that is a very big deal,
cause we need every second to heal!

I just love reading about health and stuff like this,
so info on good books would be a bliss!
Well, that’s all…got to go, have some cooking to do,
Hope you’ll like this christmas poem I’ve written for you!

I pray Santa’s also hearing it,
And that he will bring me this pack, cause I’m loving it ;-)!

Thanks for everything Fran, keep up the good work!
Smiles accross the miles,
Saskia

#372 Dee on 12.15.09 at 4:37 am

Hi Fran! You have sooo many wonderful forums/videos/blog entries…just loads of great info! I think it would be so cool if you were able to see how much you’ve helped change our lives, not just our skin, but our attitudes, confidence level and outlook on life. Acne is a battle for soo many people and you’ve given us this beautiful holistic way to fight it off! I think it’d be cool if you had a “before and after” thing so to speak. I’m sure tons of people have left comments about how great they look and feel now, but it’d be cool to see before and after pictures, before and after skin routine changes, before and after attitudes, before and after everything! I would love to hear more about how acne does not have to make you feel ugly because it’s NOT ugly. I read your email the other day about a guy who thought you were hot even when you thought you were at your worst. That was so uplifting to me and I was so blessed because the same week I got that email, someone I go to school with stopped in the library where I work and said, “Hi, beautiful!” Just goes to show you that not everyone is looking at your acne and the problem is a lot smaller than we blow it up to be. Thanks for everything and keep up the fantastic work! May God bless! :) :) And Merry Christmas!!!!!

Dee

Hi Fran! :)
I think a really good topic would be easy ways to live a better natural lifestyle. I’m 17 and it’s difficult to figure everything out when I don’t have a lot of time or money, and I’m sure I’m not the only one! It would be helpful if you provided some easy recipes. Maybe show a video of a day in the life of Fran! I really appreciate all the advise. My acne has really cleared up since I’ve been reading the information on here!:)

Hey Fran!

Thank you for all the work you have done for everyone on highonhealth.

I would like to see more advice on how to adapt to your surroundings. What I mean is say if you have to eat unhealthy school meals, what should you eat/do to counteract this? So what factors should you change to adapt to this, such as amount of fruit/veg, water, exercise and lifestyle? Hope this makes sense!

Thanks again, and Merry Christmas!!!

#386 Aisling on 12.15.09 at 5:47 am

Hi Fran

Was wondering if you could do an article about the link between cutting out meat from your diet and BAD skin?? I have heard from two different people now that zinc is an essential nutrient for healthy skin and that a great source of this is red meat. Also that many young women are zinc deficient. Could not help but notice the condition of my skin deteriorate when I moved to London to live alone. Since I no longer had to cook meat anymore (my male flatmates at uni would grumble if I cooked a meal without meat!) I just did without - thinking - it is expensive and fatty and too much hassle to cook. However, sometimes when I am eating out I get a craving for a big juicy burger or steak and I just have to have one. Maybe this is my body’s way of telling me I am zinc-deficient?

Anyway, the point is, I don’t necessarily believe that going vegetarian is going to work for everybody. I can’t help but notice that the people around me who have acne are young skinny women who don’t eat meat, just like me! It just clicked for me about a week ago, so this weekend I did a little experiment. I ate some form of meat with every meal - I started the weekend with a pizza face and now I wouldn’t say my skin is amazing, but it is dramatically better than it was two days ago. The scars are healing in two days rather than in two weeks (or longer :( ) and my skin feels REALLY soft. Is this just a coincidence???

Would be really interested on you doing some research on this article!!! xxx

I would love to learn more about antioxidants and how to prevent againg naturally. :)

#388 Thomas on 12.15.09 at 6:02 am

Hi Fran!

I would like for you to do a video on herb and vitamin supplements that help acne. I know that some herbs are said to control hormones, or detox your blood and body. I would like to hear what you think on this subject. THANKS!

#389 Kristen Truman on 12.15.09 at 6:02 am

I started reading your blog about 2 months ago and my skin has taken a significant turn for the better! The best thing I have learnt is to stop picking at my skin. This was a major problem for me and was a part of my life for over 10 years. I would take all of my life problems out on my face and would hide for weeks in my apartment ashamed of the damage I did to my face. It was seriously begining to ruin my life. Whenever I had urges I would just play one of your videos and it would give me the strength to restrain myself from touching my face. So, with that said, I think you are a huge inspiration to many young girls like myself to overcome their obsession with how they look and the battle they have with acne that I would love to hear more about the physcological side of acne suffering. I really believe that we percieve our acne to look worse than how others see it and how strange it is that if we wake up with a few spots on our face it can change our whole agenda for the day and how we feel about ourselves. It shouldnt be like this! We should almost learn to love our spots (a little crazy I know) and be patient and give our skin enough time to heal itself. This topic is very important I feel and it would be great if you could shed some more light on it.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to reading and watching your blogs in 2010!

Happy New Year my friend!

Kristen

#390 yusra on 12.15.09 at 6:06 am

Hi, I love everything in your website, really great work !
however, I would love to learn more about hormones and more importantly, can you write about the dark brown spots resulting from acne?
thank you :)

#391 Melissa on 12.15.09 at 6:07 am

I think you should write out some healthy meal recipes that can help clear up skin. I know you always talk about foods that can help clear acne from skin but it would be great if you could research some great, tasty recipes that included those foods. Thanks Fran!

#392 Chrissi Holt on 12.15.09 at 6:18 am

What would I like you to write about? Supplements and herbs. That little is often the best policy and that to really gain health is to get your nutrients from the food you eat. Stating that sometimes self diagnosing and giving yourself a huge influx of artifical vitamins and like are damaging and often a major contribute to the worsening of acne. I have discovered from personal experience that the less anal I am about my health and acne the better my life has is. My acne is virtually non existent in fact it’s not even acne anymore xx

#393 Chrissi Holt on 12.15.09 at 6:19 am

But to add to this I have no interests to win the goody bag as I have myself found a great rountine. Just wanted to say how i feel x

Many hanks for the website and experience you share! In the next year I would like to know more about your skincare regime and more new ways to treat the skin naturally, since something good for one, does not fit the other. Also, something about nutritioning the skin would be useful, for products, that fight skin problems, often leave skin without the necessary nutrition level.

We hear about acne being irratating outside but l’ve noticed most of it is caused when l’m stressed or not living a good live style.I would want next year to be focused on how health and your food is connected with how you appear and issues like mental health issues like anxiety and isomnia because l think this is all connected and you need a balance and when something is inbalanced it effects everything including skin.

Thanks

#410 Felicia on 12.15.09 at 7:41 am

I would like to know more about what to eat when you have acne, or maybe what not to eat? I have read all kinds of things about not eating wheat or dairy, or even other grains because they are “inflammatory.” I often feel like there is nothing left to eat, especially on the go.

Thanks, Fran!

Hi Fran,
It would be great to read or hear more about the health of our gut, the health of our bodies, the health of the soil, and how these relate to each other. Demineralization would be an interesting subject too, again related to the previous ones. Does it affect our skins, and how? And finally: sleep! We aren’t getting enough of it…
Good night!

Hello! Love your site. I have been living and researching on many of the same things that you do and love that you are bringing this healthy way of thinking to the mainstream! I would like more info on diet. My internist helped me create a diet to minimize my chronic sinius infections wich took care of the sinus problems indefinitly and cleared my skin as well! So maybe info and research about adrinal fatigue and liver malfunction due to (toxins/industrialized food/birth control/pharmaceuticals) and how it can effect integrity of your skin. The cook book I live by is, Nourshing Traditions. Half cook book and half text book, lol. I may not be an expert but I know that eating by the style the book is talking about cleared my skin in conjunction with my natural face treatment. I would love a review on my fave product to see what you think, Evan Healy face care.

Enjoy the holidays!

#417 Melville on 12.15.09 at 8:11 am

I have a comment after reading a lot of posts asking for you to teach/help people have positive outlooks and better self esteem. I just wanted to say that you can’t just “give” yourself better self esteem and say, “I am fine the way I am”, without doing anything. If your unhappy your unhappy. I think positive self esteem comes from the fact that you are taking time and initiative to grow as a person and educate yourself on basic things like health, food and stress. There is no right or wrong that can define guidlines so you can say, “Ah I am good now”. But as long as you are learning, educating yourself and willing to put in some work, then you can sit back and say, “Ah, I am responsible and and doing what I can. I should feel good about that and love who I am.”

#418 Blair.Jessica on 12.15.09 at 8:27 am

I would like to hear more about the spiritual side of haling the skin. It would be nice to learn about things like meditation and affirmations. i’ve heard these things are very beneficial and can have excellent effects on the skin.

#421 Tara on 12.15.09 at 9:21 am

I would love more recipes, especially raw food recipes, and DIY home beauty recipes.

#422 Trish on 12.15.09 at 9:42 am

Home beauty recipes would be awesome!!
I have been trying to go for all non animal tested products. I’ve managed to switch everything except my cleanser which is too hard to find a good cleanser that does not test on animals. Also can you clearly state your regimen. I see all kinds of masks but i”m wondering when do you incoporate these products in.
Btw really appreciate your help with a lot of things!

First of all, Happy Holidays!!
Hi Fran! =D I LOVE your videos, they have helped me so much. I don’t have clear skin yet, but your videos have aided me in understanding the causes of acne, and how to treat them. My skin has improved considerably though and your video about “The Emotional Side of Acne” really helped me feel a bit better about myself.

Anywho, I’m rambling, so I really just want to say that you’re so inspiring and keep making your videos =)

I hope I win this contest, I really want to try the Bee Yummy and Clay skin care!

I would really really really love it if you could do a video about some home-made acne remedies(masks, toners…). You know, with ingredients that we can get at the grocery store! I would also like it if you could do a video something like the “Emotional Side of Acne”. Maybe you could “interview” people who have or had acne! And talk about the bullying and harrassement you can get when you have acne and how to overcome what other people say about you.

Thank-you for reading this incredibly long letter…I know you must be frustrated! =P I know I would be if I were you… Anyways, thank=you so much!

#424 shelbi on 12.15.09 at 10:21 am

hey fran,
actually I think that you should talk about common products used like : neutrogena, proactive, clear skin.. ex.
and teach us either if its good or not, or either if they really help your skin and your health, and homemade skin care like healthy masks for those who cant afford to go out and buy acne products.

#425 Katherine on 12.15.09 at 10:26 am

More awesome recipes! … for food that is. I’m a pretty strict vegetarian who stays away from ALL meats and dairy, and while it seems easy to have a diet of just fruit, vegetables, beans, and grains… it’s certainly easier said than done… especially when I’m trying to go more RAW like you have (Which is very inspiring by the way!). Finding new recipes is always exciting which helps in keeping me from getting bored. I’m a pretty visual person, so videos are really great :)

Not sure if I should include my email here as well… but whatever. - kay.rebekah@yahoo.com

Happy Christmas!!!

#426 zara on 12.15.09 at 10:36 am

hey fran,
i was wondering if you could talk about spots which are different to the common acne spots. i get loads of small spots/pimples rather than a few bigs ones so im not sure if i should treat them in the same way you would treat normal acne. also what should you do if your skin gets better/worse at certain times of the month? another thing i have noticed is a lot of people talk about the best way to treat dry or oily skin…but what should you do if you have combination skin?
i would really appreciate it if you could give me some advice on these things. thanks!

#427 Lucy Dawson on 12.15.09 at 10:38 am

You are absolutely enchanting Fran, and you’ve helped me so much, I can’t thank you enough. I would love it for you to post or video more about Nourishing Traditions, and what your thoughts on those theories are. Also, I love your new-agey posts, I think you could expound more on philosophy, if you can relate it of course. :)

#428 bec on 12.15.09 at 10:39 am

How about a meal program for acne sufferers?

#429 Cathy on 12.15.09 at 10:40 am

Video and blog posts on teenage acne, thanks.

#430 Julie on 12.15.09 at 10:44 am

Lots more from Ananda!!! She’s great! I’d like to hear her talk about different ways to detox the body, how to do a cleanse or detox safely, and more about how to naturally balance our hormones with supplements or whatever. Thanks!

#431 Herbey on 12.15.09 at 10:47 am

I love the work and dedicaton you have put into helping others with their acne. Your fight with acne is now over and mine is barely beginning. Thanks to you maybe my fight with acne will finally be at end. I think next year you should talk about body acne and how to cure it.

#432 Jo on 12.15.09 at 10:51 am

I would love to know more about makeup that is acne-friendly. I know a lot of kinds are natural and say they do not clog your pores, but I never know what to believe. Acne is so damaging to your self confidence, and makeup is one thing that me feel pretty when my skin is breaking out, but at the same time it may just be making it worse! Most of the time my skin is so bad that I couldn’t imagine going out without coverup on, but will it ever fully clear up if I continue to wear makeup? Is there a brand that does not clog your pores as much as others? Thanks!

#433 justina on 12.15.09 at 11:01 am

hey fran i would like you to talk more about the excerscising and more of what you can do rather than products. like sleeping more water and excercise and maintaing stress. i aslo would like if you gather a group of teenagers like you could have them tlk bout how acne has affected them so we maybe can learn how to handle it . also how vitamins can even maintain great healthness more into vitamins!!

#434 Audrina on 12.15.09 at 11:58 am

hi Fran! Happy Holidays.. All your videos have been very helpful since I am also suffering from Acne.. It would even be great if you do a before and after video of the products that you have been using or the products that you recommend.. Take a sample group, from dry to oily skin so that everyone can relate to it. Thanks! =)

#435 Karina on 12.15.09 at 12:07 pm

Hey Fran I would love if you would do more on spot treatment. I am on the OCM treatment right now and my skin has been feeling much better, but I still have pimples so I would love if you would do more spot treatments. Thanks!

#436 Courtney on 12.15.09 at 12:07 pm

I’d love to hear more about natural, skin friendly make up that doesn’t contain a lot of chemicals.

#437 Jessiebear on 12.15.09 at 12:10 pm

Hi there Fran,
I just discovered your website a few months ago, and i have completely changed my skincare to organic, and so far, by following your tips, i have noticed an extreme differnce in my acne and skin condition. I think it’d be great if you could start including makeup tips as well as seperate vidoes on similar skin conditions such as coldsores. Otherwise i think you have done great in your videos!

#438 Rachael on 12.15.09 at 12:17 pm

Hey, I would love to hear about good ways to moisterize dry skin with acne and also what to do about the flaky skin that comes from skin that is too dry.

#439 Marianna on 12.15.09 at 12:20 pm

Dear Fran,
I love your website, and I’d love to see some videos on if acne is caused by stress, I’m a big procrastinator and my acne is really bad for some reason, I’d love to see if acne is actually caused by stress or not.

Thanks a lot, and Happy Holidays.

#440 Danny on 12.15.09 at 12:28 pm

I love your site and find it difficult to think of things you haven’t already covered well. But, perhaps more about how to determine your skin type in order to find the best course of treatment.

Thanks for your work!

#441 lyndsey on 12.15.09 at 12:31 pm

Merry Christmas!

Personally, it is hard to think of something new I would like you to talk about next year because it seems like you already discuss everything I am interested in! I love your recipes though so more of those would be nice!
Thanks for everything!

#442 Karen Avila on 12.15.09 at 12:41 pm

Hello!!!

I love everything in your site, I’ve found it very interesting, and overall useful, wha i’d like you to write is about after the acne, when your skin has scratches, what you can do about it?, any advice to aply at home?

#443 Johana on 12.15.09 at 12:42 pm

hey Fran,

I would love to hear you talk more about stores where you’ve shop for your natural products here in canada. its hard to find stores where they sell good products.

thanks

#444 Justine on 12.15.09 at 1:12 pm

Love your site! I’m ADDICTED! I would like to see more personalized skin regimens for different skin types. Most of what you blog about (for dry skin like yours) is helpful, but I have combination skin. Others have oily skin, etc.
Another thing that would make a fun video is showing us HOW to prepare a natural facial scrub, mask, or body scrub.

#445 Debra on 12.15.09 at 1:24 pm

I would honestly like to hear more about reducing acne scarring.
Also, more about meditation, self-help, positive affirmations, and state of mind.

Thank you for your wonderfully informative site.
Happy holidays and nothing but best wishes your way! =)

#446 Clarissa on 12.15.09 at 2:03 pm

how about a video about urine as an acne remedy? I’m not making fun, its a real treatment! I just would like to know your thoughts, cause I heard it works! haha thanks

#447 Kimberly on 12.15.09 at 2:12 pm

This year I would like to learn more about foods that
help save our skin from the damage stress and polution
can cause. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you Miss Fran!

#448 Rachel on 12.15.09 at 2:12 pm

Hi Fran,
you can show us how to stay acene free, tell us why and how we get acene,or you can make videos on some healthy foods or snacks and tell us how they will benefit our skin,or make a video on what things you should avoid for healthy skin,or a video on good oral hygiene <(dont know how to spell that),or things we can do everyday to detoxify our bodys.
Thats all and thanks Fran for giving us the oppurtunity to take of our skin.Especially for people like me that are on a budget.
Love,
Rachel

#449 Nora on 12.15.09 at 2:32 pm

I would love to hear more about:
-removing acne scarring

-the good skincare ingredients to look for in skincare products, if they should be creamy, gel etc. (I live in Canada and the products you recommend are hard to come by :( )
-light therapy
-holistic treatments
-the power of the mind/law of attraction
Love what you’re doing and keep on doing it :D

Thanks,
Brandon

#451 Lauren on 12.15.09 at 3:09 pm

Hi Fran, thanks for all your info, it’s really helpful.

I would like you to discuss what women can do to help balance out their hormones, especially if they are not on the pill.

Thanks x

#452 Char on 12.15.09 at 3:10 pm

I would like it if you would show more of natural skin treatments that one can make by using different natural ingredients.

#453 Jackie on 12.15.09 at 3:16 pm

Hi Fran,

I love your site and have taken on a lot of the methods that you blog about. I am really interested in living a healthier lifestyle. Perhaps you could blog about easing your way into it. I’m a college student, and it is hard to find time when you have school and jobs. I would love to read more about yoga poses I could do at home, or meditation practices. Maybe a few videos with someone you know (or you) doing a yoga session… I’ve looked on youtube, and there aren’t many good ones.

Thanks!

#454 Celine on 12.15.09 at 3:37 pm

-Removing the scars, or blackhead under my skin.
-What kind of vitamins should I take?
-Healthy food to eat
-How can we eat chocolate without breaking out? because I ALWAYS break out when i eat chocolate.
-home remedy?

THanks,
celine

#455 Lisa Kehmeier on 12.15.09 at 4:04 pm

acne causes a breakdown in skin cells mainly collagen does not renew which leaves ugly scars. A review on collegen supplements or anything that could help prevent cell breakdown due to acne would be helpful.

#456 Kylie on 12.15.09 at 5:02 pm

Hi Fran

Have enjoyed reading your blogs this year. Keep up the great job :)

My suggestions for the New Year blog would be about the following:
* more about body acne
* more ideas on keeping ‘positive attitude’ & confidence etc to share
* sugar free dark chocolate brands and other delicious heathy snacks that are out there?
* healthy skin care products

Again what you have done so far is absolutely great. I enjoy reading thats for sure :D

I have been home in Brissy for nearly a month now, trying to figure out where I can find my beloved sprouted bread in a big loaf :D aaaah so good to be home :D

Merry Christmas Fran and all the readers too :D

#457 Tara on 12.15.09 at 5:36 pm

Your blogs are awesome and have really helped my skin!

My suggestions for the new year would be:

-How to get rid of those annoying white bumps called milia.

-Your opinion on what vitamins should be taken to improve the skin.

Have a great holiday! :)

#458 Bonni on 12.15.09 at 5:43 pm

Looks like you have plenty to read…thanks for taking the time. I’ve been on the hunt for my cure…I think everyone has something different that will help them. I’ve been on a ph balance kick. I would be interested in your take on how body ph affects acne.

#459 becky gray on 12.15.09 at 5:50 pm

i would love to see a blog relating to acne scaring and the options people have with the after effects of acne.

#460 annika on 12.15.09 at 7:27 pm

Hi Fran, I would love to see a Head to Toe of natural healthcare. Starting off with a blog about your hair for example and ending with a blog on your toenails :-)

It could be a weekly or monthly blog (as I know it’s a lot of work!).

I would like to read about products, supplements, foods, etc for are great for your hair, for example. With tips about how to take care of a part of your body or skin on an area of your body.

#463 MacMac on 12.15.09 at 7:43 pm

Hi! I also would like to know more on skincare regime in cold weather, since here in Europe, it is realy cold some times and skin then goes crazy…
Some alternatives on beeyummy moisturizer would also be useful, since it does not fit to everyone. I also wait for more interviews with some doctors and other specialists.
Take care!

#464 Eman on 12.15.09 at 9:57 pm

Hi,

I would like to learn more about how/ways to control sugar cravings and how to maintain healthy diet! You mentioned the 90% good healthy food and 10% good for the soul food rule, which I really liked because I really found it hard to cut sugar out completely. Also more about getting rid of blackheads1 Truely thanks for all your help! x

#465 Rosa on 12.15.09 at 10:13 pm

Hi Fran, first I would like to thank you for your website, it is being very useful! Since I have started reading you (about 3 weeks ago) I have quickly stopped consuming dairy products and reduced significantly white sugar in my diet and my skin seems to improve everyday!
But there is something I would like to check… about bread! I really like eating bread… it is so hard to give it up… I would like to know more about what kind of bread could you eat, or not, if you are sticking to an acne free diet.
Thanks you very much!!
Regards

and Merry Christmas to all!

#466 Naomi on 12.15.09 at 10:29 pm

Hi Fran, I would love for you to write about more organic and raw food recipes. Since I started reading your site I have completely changed my eating habits and I am always looking for new ideas about what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinners.

#467 xing on 12.15.09 at 10:43 pm

Definitely scar treatments for 3D or textural(sunken in or popping out) scars.

There’s so many conflicting treatments out there and most if not all doctors out there just want to push you to try their most expensive treatment and give false promises.

Maybe also what we can do or eat during the healing process to reduce scar formation or maximise the efficiency of treatments. (I don’t pick but still have the scars)

#468 786sra on 12.15.09 at 11:06 pm

Hi Fran, I would like to thank you for all the great advice you have provided for so many of us. Your site has made me realise that there are many things you can do to cure acne, but you have to be committed to doing something about.
I thought maybe you could talk about home-made remedies and maybe people could also share their thoughts on it. Plus on polycystic ovaries syndrome, which affects many women and they tend to suffer from skin problems and many other problems. Also where we could buy some of the product if we live in UK or any other country.
Thank you and Merry Christmas to you and all the readers!!!

#469 Kril on 12.16.09 at 12:04 am

I would iike to see a video about. How to transition into a vegetarian? or how to seek help or advice for acne suffer, to be open about it. i am ashamed so i am to embarrassed to ask for help. so, i just hold it all inside.
wel, thank you for all your advices you post on your web page. they help me a lot.

#475 Clytie on 12.16.09 at 3:18 am

Hello all, I really would love to hear about scar therapy, improvement of skin with real scars. Also about recovering your self esteem after so long with acne, it seems that even when it is clearing you still behave and feel like a person with acne and interact differently with people to hide your face. I really believe having the right makeup for some of us can really help in the short run, but it’s so hard to choose one that won’t mess with your skin. And to address how to slowly get yourself off of the habit of makeup then after wearing it. Anyway those are my thoughts, keep up the good work, I appreciate it!

#476 Candace on 12.16.09 at 3:36 am

Hi Fran, I’m interested in learning about how to stop the urge to pick at my skin. I’ve tried a few things, but nothing works all the time. I still find myself picking and afterwards I feel so humiliated and ashamed. Thanks!

#477 amy on 12.16.09 at 3:58 am

Hey Fran, <3

I would like you to blog and video ( as I love listening to the videos) about balancing our PH levels and how to reduce acidic levels in our bodies and rising alkaline and what causes these imbalances and how it effects our skin and what to do. I love whenever you remind us acne sufferers that it’s not only diet and what we put on our faces its just as much if not more how me feel…etc. I have bad acne for five years, but I love your site. I know I will fix this problem thanks to You!!! :)

#478 Jessica on 12.16.09 at 4:16 am

Hi Fran,

I would like to see reviews of skin lightening products and natural methods for treating acne scarring and skin discolorations. Sometimes the marks acne leave behind can be worse than the acne itself, and can take years to fade. I would like to know if you struggle with skin discolorations as a result of acne and if so, how you deal with it. I also think that it would be important to include guidance on how to keep acne at bay while treating scarring and discolorations.

#479 Heather on 12.16.09 at 4:47 am

I’d like to hear some real success stories from people that you have helped. Your own success is inspiring, but hearing testimonies from more people would be even better. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

#480 Stephanie on 12.16.09 at 5:06 am

Hi Fran,

adore your site and your advice is great! In the new year, I would love for you to write more about how hormones and stress affect acne and skin condition, which are such huge factors in the young adult population.
Happy Holidays!

First of all, thank you so much for all the work you have put into high on health. I suffered from acne for years before I stumbled across your videos and am now almost 100% acne free!! You are an inspiration :)
I would love to hear more on skin picking and how to control it, as I have found it to be the most important step towards clearing my skin.
Thanks again!

#485 sophia on 12.16.09 at 6:07 am

hi fran!
love love loooove all of your information, and I love that I really do trust any of your advice. I would really like to see you do more articles on what products and cleansing routines work well to prevent acne on other parts of the body BESIDES for the face.

#486 Roxana on 12.16.09 at 6:42 am

Hello!

Just saw this and I really hadn’t had the chance to thank you until now. So thank you for sharing all this knowledge with us, it has actually helped me a lot.
Now, I’ve learned loads about treating acne and I’ve finally stopped picking and stuff like that. So what I would love most now would be new healthy receipes. And if they’re easy to make, all the better =) Something to eat every day, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. That would be really helpful, because I pretty much know what’s healthy to eat, but I don’t really know how to do that and make it tasty ^_^
And another thing that would be helpful would be a guide to get rid of blackheads, especially those at the base of the nose…
Thank you and keep up the amazing work!
We love you =)

#487 Dena P on 12.16.09 at 6:45 am

I think your site and the information you provide is very helpful. The only other addition I would suggest is maybe to include readers experiences in a video format, like progressing their experiences with certain products. Otherwise, it’s great, keep up the good work!

#488 Astrid on 12.16.09 at 6:53 am

i would like to read/hear more about oils that are beneficial for the skin internal and external and more healthy recipes, i always try and mostly like them and it would be great if you could do more intervies with specialist.

Merry christmas too everybody around the world!!

#489 Danielle on 12.16.09 at 7:01 am

Fran, you are truly wonderful. Thanks for having the courage to speak the truth about so many things that are seen as being embarrassing or taboo. You are paving the way for many to heal themselves, while you heal yourself in the process.

I have a few topic ideas for next years videos:

1. Light Therapy - I’ve used a product called ‘Tanda’ with some success, this might be worth looking into for other users.

2. Mercury fillings and the toxic load it causes on the body. I myself often wonder if my fillings are causing a toxic overload.

3. Energy blockages (Solar Plexus Chakra) and acne.

4. How to wean yourself off of the Pill for acne control.

Thanks again for all of your love and positivity!

#490 Helen on 12.16.09 at 7:12 am

Hi Fran,
I’ve been a long time youtube subscriber for yours. Thanks for all your wonderful advise. I would like you to talk about pores. More specifically, how to get rid of blackhead and whitehead?

Thanks <3

#491 Tiffany on 12.16.09 at 7:14 am

Hi Fran!

I would love to see you cover other causes for acne, like PCOS and/or other treatments for acne like Ayurveda.

#492 Natalia on 12.16.09 at 7:45 am

Hi Fran!
I love love your videos and blogposts. You’ve really helped me out especially with your youtube videos and it would truly help if you made a video or a blogpost about pms related acne breakouts. :) Thank you!

#493 Oana on 12.16.09 at 8:05 am

Hey Fran,
In the next year you should talk about the best way to get rid of blackheads, and what things to put on our faces or eat for blackheads. I don’t know how good pore strips are b/c they don’t really work that good for me, and squeezing them isn’t that good for my skin, so that’s another thing I’d like to learn about. Everything you’ve done is so useful. Thanks a bunch, and have a super Merry Christmas! GBU.

#494 Christie on 12.16.09 at 9:12 am

I would love to hear more about eating natural and using essential oils to control acne, also hormonal acne.

#495 Diana on 12.16.09 at 9:51 am

Fran….First of all HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
Hmm its a tough one…What I would like to see would be…helping people with our acne condition with self-esteem issues, and write about that about in your blog…how to have an excellent self-esteem. Also delving more into RAW,ALKALINE,LOW GLYCEMIC INDEX diets…and talk about cheap ways to buy foods. And talk about more what to look in a moisturizer/cleanser based on you face type (oily, dry, combination). And last but not least like everyone has mentioned delving into how to deal with food when your in university. WELL THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN…ALL THE BEST…MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

#496 Julie on 12.16.09 at 9:58 am

Hi Fran
Thanks for your helpful information that integrates complementary and mainstream approaches to helping reduce acne. I’d be interested in learning more about managing hormone-linked acne for the no-longer in teens or twenties women.
Wishing you a peaceful and happy 2010.
Kind regards, Julie

#497 Julie B. on 12.16.09 at 10:21 am

Hi Fran! This must be a great opportunity for you to see what people want to read about! As for me, what I would LOVE to see come into High on Health is people who have ‘graduated’ from your coaching program, have them briefly describe us what was their situation with acne and how they treated it. That would be really cool for people who didn’t need all the guiding you provided in the coaching program, but maybe haven’t gotten rid of their blemishes yet (like me;D)

Also, videos or articles about homemade skin care products, specified for each skin type or problem, would be a major plus!

Happy holidays!

#498 Alissa on 12.16.09 at 10:48 am

Hey Fran! The only thing I’d like to see more of is overviews of various makeup and skin care product applications in reference to skin type. Other than that I think that you are doing an amazing job of keeping us informed about great products and regimens! Happy holidays! :D

#499 Emma on 12.16.09 at 10:56 am

Hi Fran
I really love your product reviews and updates on products so keep them coming! Also would love to see a ‘how to’ on natural at home pampering facial.
Cheers have a great time over holidays!

#500 Christen Dybenko on 12.16.09 at 10:59 am

Love your blog, Fran.
I’d love to see some “case studies” or before and after photos. Maybe people who try Bee Yummy Skinfood for their acne.

#501 Shay on 12.16.09 at 11:09 am

It would be nice to see “before and after pictures” of people who have been on your wonderful program. And possibly more on foods that benefit the skin! Thanks a ton, Merry Christmas Fran!

#502 Angel on 12.16.09 at 11:11 am

Hi Fran,

I appreciate all your advice on skin care. I could use additional information of how to cope emotional with the aftermath of cystic acne. I suffer from scaring and it has effected my self esteem negatively. More coping tools and remedies for scaring would be very helpful. Thanks for everything!

#503 Daniel P. on 12.16.09 at 11:34 am

I would love to see a video on how to integrate both the mental and physical aspects of skin care. Things such as stress relief for the face and relaxation for the face. Also your healthy cooking blogs were definitly a highlight of last years videos, so some more of those would be awesome as well! Good luck in the new year -Best wishes, Daniel

#504 Amber on 12.16.09 at 11:54 am

Hi Fran,
I love your website! I’m so glad I came across your videos on youtube last year. I’ve been a fan ever since. I have always been in to natural products and living a healthy life. I’m like this because my mom is a homeopath. I always have know natural skin care products are the right way to go but I’ve never been able to find the right fit for my skin. I Love Miessence! Thank you so much for writing about it! My skin is oily so do you have any other cleansers that you recemend? I would love it if you could give some recipes for breakfast. I can eat breakfast it is just a little hard for me to eat at 7:30 in the morning before school. Especially for my skin, I have allergies to wheat and dairy so it is tough for me to eat eggs everyday and get my protein in the morning. I break out with any grain too. Also, do you have any tips on how to get skin really clean. After being in school all day for 6 hours i need a good wash to get my skin clean. I tend to break out more during the school year because I weak mineral makeup. In the summer my skin is completely clear, I get lots of sunshine and eat well and balanced. Happy Holidays!!

Thank you for your blog!

-Amber : )

#505 Rachel on 12.16.09 at 12:28 pm

Hello Fran, merry Christmas! Thank you for doing this. I would like to hear more about getting rid of clogged pores and preventing them. I would also like to hear about natural ways to prevent blackheads and not drying out your skin in the skin routine.

Thank you!

#506 Vivi on 12.16.09 at 1:26 pm

Hi Fran,
Keep up the great work. I’d like to hear more about dealing with acne psychologically. It really has effected my self-image to a degree that I can’t identify with who I am. More on this topic would be great!

Thanks

#507 Lady Lee on 12.16.09 at 1:57 pm

I would like you to talk more about treating scars. specifically the results of resorting to laser and other types of scar removal; the long term effects of the skin, etc.
Also–The affects of certain things in the “air” (your environment not just “the environment” as a whole) on skin (i.e. grease/oils in the air during cooking, hair products, etc.). :)
Thank you.

#508 carly on 12.16.09 at 2:06 pm

fran -

i would like see you include the experiences of other people and then analyze them through the high on health lens to shed light on how the choices they’ve made have influenced their skin. what i love most about your blog is your personal experiences with different acne treatments, and how you’ve figured out what works best through trial and error, and i think your readers would learn a lot by hearing different people’s experiences and how different bodies tolerate different things. this might help all of us to become more aware of our own bodies and how we react to things (foods, soaps, stresses, etc.) i think about this a lot :)

#509 Sarah on 12.16.09 at 2:18 pm

hi Fran,
I noticed many people have asked about Chinese medicine. I am also interested in what other cultures do to maitain healthy skin. You might have to do a lot of research but well worth it.
thanks

#510 Sarah on 12.16.09 at 2:35 pm

Fran - I would appreciate more tips on organic products (make-up, soap, deodorant, even toothpaste!). I fear that all of the chemicals we put in our bodies may be the cause of so many cancers and other diseases/syndromes we are faced with today. Also, health tips for moms-to-be would be great!

Sarah

#511 Andrea on 12.16.09 at 3:01 pm

Keep doing what you’re doing! It’s so great! I would love to see more about nutrition and acne fighting foods. I’m also interested in learning more about hormonal acne.
Thank you!

#512 Israel Saldaña on 12.16.09 at 4:09 pm

Talking more about food and how good or bad they are for acne, recipes to make natural skin care products such as masks, exfoliants, moisturizers with natural products like fruits, honey, etc etc. Reviews or reports about products of skin care in the marker (Real products that are for acne prone skin), Maybe u can make like a mini forum where people can rate Products that exist in the market (Just like Make Up alley) but in High on Health page and that way we can trust that the results and reviews of those products are real and controlled by u ;D U can also talk about herbs, fruits and plants that are not very common but have amazing properties (Tat way we can add them to our diet and help our skin) Maybe u can create a section in ur website where u can give recipes to make cream masks and treatments for our skin for specific skin types with 100% natural and organic ingredients. U can also create a section in the High on Health web site and show personal histories of people that have cured their acne tanks to ur website and ur programs with pictures and a personal history encouraging people to follow ur advices and take care of their mind, body and spirit (Tat way people will follow u more and identify with real cases) and finally u could talk a little less of spiritual and metaphysics stuff? it’s soo nice of u to mention it and make us understand that amazing and fascinating knowledge, but it can get repetitive and a bit exhausting to read? HOPE THIS HELPS

U ARE AWSOME have a very happy new year full of great things and beautiful skin =D XXXXX

#513 Marija on 12.16.09 at 4:11 pm

I’d love to learn more ways of de-stressing to keep acne under control.
I’m doing everything right with my eating and products, etc., although I believe that my acne is caused by stress from life. How do I go about not giving a @#$% for things that don’t matter?

Thanks girl!

#514 Chantelle on 12.16.09 at 4:20 pm

Hi Fran!

I think it would be great to add a section about how you can begin to incorporate all of these techniques into your life. I’ve recently come across your site and am SO excited to try out all of your ideas, however, it’s a lot to take in at once since it really is a lifestyle change. So, I’d really like to hear your ideas on how to begin with moderation, and also (since I’m a busy university student!) how to fit these changes into your routine. A method to slowly make these changes would do wonders, and help keep us motivated to continue.

Thanks so much Fran!

Chantelle

#515 Angel on 12.16.09 at 5:07 pm

Q: What would you like me to write or video about in High on Health next year?

First of all, thank you sooo much Fran for all the help you’ve provided all your readers. Since I’ve been a faithful reader of your blog, I’ve gained a new outlook on life. Not only do I aim to cure my acne, but now I also try to live a healthier life. [: Answering your question, I’d like to learn more about stress management, especially for students like me. Just more info on how to live healthier in terms of meditation, outlooks on life, awesome, new healthy foods. Oooh, and lots of cute, useful tips! Again, thanks sooo much for everything, Fran!

#516 Ally on 12.16.09 at 6:12 pm

Hi Fran,
I’d like to know whether getting facials is beneficial or can have negative effects. How can you tell if the aesthetician is good or not? Is it beneficial/detrimental to get them frequently?
Thanks!

#517 Ruth on 12.16.09 at 9:04 pm

HI Frank,

First of all I want to congratulate you once again for your site. It has helped me a lot and I have followed a lot of your advices.
My suggestion is about “interviews” to people that have solved their acne problem ….real people that would also like to share their experiences and how they manage to overcome acne. You know Frank, your videos are really motivating and your advices are fantastic BUT , at least in the video, your skin looks beautiful….I cant see pimples or scars! So for us, people suffering from some acne…visible acne, kind of feel bad sometimes to hear you talking about how bad you felt about acne….if I CANT see scars in your face. SO maybe asking some people about their problems, picking pimples, medicine, etc….for several races (black, white, etc) would be a nice topic! :)
Another topic would show a video…or images of how a pimple can heal itself without picking it…or show a pimple healing day by day…something like that so we can SEE how pimples heal….

#518 Michael on 12.16.09 at 10:36 pm

Hey Fran,

How about devoting an in-depth series or two about managing acne for men.

We guys, we cannot hide under makeups, we have more androgenic hormones to deal with, we usually do not have the patience to try so many different products, we shave and hurt our skin a lot, and, i think, we are more emotionally battered when we have persitent acne, more than women. So a series about acne-care for guys would be much appreciated.

I know you cannot speak from experience in this case, but Iam sure you will do well researching the subject.

Cheers.

=)

#519 Rachel on 12.16.09 at 11:10 pm

I would like you to talk about the relationship between vitamins, minerals, and acne.

#520 Ingrid Banovsky on 12.17.09 at 1:29 am

Hi Fran!
I’d love to know your take on cleansing and your skin, parasites, blood cleansers, organ cleanses… how they all affect your skin and if we should be doing them?

Thanks!
i.

#521 Andi on 12.17.09 at 1:40 am

#522 Kristín Alda Jónsdóttir on 12.17.09 at 2:23 am

#523 Kevin on 12.17.09 at 2:38 am

Hi Fran,

I gotta agree with Michael. A series on how to manage ance for men would be great. I’m sure you’ve got sources there that can help you and perhaps guest write and video blog on the subject.

Thanks!

#524 jane on 12.17.09 at 3:16 am

happy wednesday :)
i’d be interested in reading about yeast infections/candida overgrowth, and quick fixes for them (natural or otherwise), vs long-term causes + treatments. of course you’ve talked about the connection between candida and acne before, i was just hoping you could talk a little more about the yeast infection aspect of it! thanks!

#525 JoAnna Ebersole on 12.17.09 at 4:06 am

I would love to see some recipes for food that promotes vibrant skin.

#526 Meghan on 12.17.09 at 4:55 am

Hi Fran, thank you for this website…I just recently started to follow it a couple months ago and while I am working on clearing up my acne I am already seeing some hyper-pigmentation of old acne areas…I would like to learn more and natural ways to help this “aftermath” so I don’t have to be constantly reminded of where I once had acne. Thanks

#527 Sharon on 12.17.09 at 5:20 am

Hi Fran

Just wanted to say first of all thank you for the site it’s loaded with heaps of interesting info and I can tell you genuinely want to help acne sufferers.

Hi Fran! I appreciate your website and the insights you provide. I would like to see you blog about your typical (or ideal) meal plan for a week and the hows and whys behind it all. Thanks!

#529 Jia on 12.17.09 at 7:29 am

Hello! I would love to hear the history of some foods or natural ailments and their effectiveness for the body in the past.

#530 Madhiya Q on 12.17.09 at 7:57 am

I absolutely love your website! I’ve tried searching for the perfect solution for my occasional acne and I think your website is unique because it discusses all the possible solutions from skincare products to diet. I particularly find diet control as the perfect cure for acne and I’d love to see you talk more about that in the future. Also using natural skin care products is something that I’m really interested in, like the video you recently did on baking soda as a natural deodrant.

#531 Caroline on 12.17.09 at 8:27 am

I would love to hear more about natural home remedies.

#532 Milla on 12.17.09 at 10:31 am

#534 jon on 12.17.09 at 10:56 am

I Would like vids and more information about Acne Scars/Pitted marks and as wellas red marks or those marks that leave you once the pimple goes away. A remedy for these situations or a greap way to keeping them less visible.

Would Be great!

#535 Kelly on 12.17.09 at 11:05 am

Hi Fran, love the site! I’d like to see some more information on natural products to help maintain healthy skin after acne has healed, and prevent it from coming back. And some acne-friendly recipes would be great too!

#536 Leane on 12.17.09 at 11:07 am

Hi Fran!
I would love for you to give information and make videos on how to treat or fade acne scars and red marks. That would be great!

Merry Christmas!

#537 Anne on 12.17.09 at 12:02 pm

Hi Fran,

Love the site, been enjoying the articles and programe.
There are actually several issues I personally would like to know more about as well as others.

The benefits of Charcoal, and its amazing healing powers.

The toxicity in cooking utenciles, pots and pans, and how everyone should switch to ceramic cook wear.

Another is the issue with showering in city water, it is just as bad as drinking it and how bad is it cauzing acne?

#538 Meghan on 12.17.09 at 12:34 pm

Hi Fran!
I love love love your website! It has helped me so much, and I have been using your tip about Baking Soda to exfoliate and it works amazingly well!
I know that food is so important to our bodies well being and to helping us clear up acne, but lately I have been hearing about genetically modified foods and I personally don’t believe in eating GMOs, but I was wondering what information you have heard about them. It is so important to get information about genetically modified foods out there. Anything would be great!
Thank you so much for this website!

#543 Ashley on 12.17.09 at 3:51 pm

I would love to see more videos on natural masks. Possibly ones that we can make from ingredients that we can find in the kitchen. A moisturizing one for winter would be nice :)

#544 Sarah on 12.17.09 at 11:13 pm

Hi! Fran, I’d love you to evaluate more high end products next year. I believe one gets what one paid for. So I am always inclined to go for the more expensive skin care products as long as I can afford them. I usually do a lot of research at makeupally before I purchase anything. But as a acne sufferer, I want to hear more about your experiences and opinins.

#545 Sonia Datta on 12.17.09 at 11:52 pm

Hi, I would like you to write about the Oil cleansing method. Also, Why is the castor oil called Palma christi oil and what can it do.

It has been made with great claims but its effects are both sides. So, what is it and wht are the do’s and don;ts associated with it.

#546 Maya on 12.18.09 at 12:22 am

Hey Fran,

Thanks for the site.

Do you know any recipes for hand-made cleansers and soaps? I’d like to know how to make my own natural personal care products.

Also I’d like to know your favourite remedy for itchy skin on the legs and arms.

Thanks again for your hard work.

Happy holidays!

#547 Anna Ernqvist on 12.18.09 at 12:30 am

Hi Fran, I really appreciate your homepage and the work your doing for us with acne problems. I think that many of your videos and writings are very useful and reasonable and I have myself used some of the products you have recommended with success. What I would like you to write about next year is also the traditional medicine and what the scientifical studies shows about for example food impact onm acne, stress impact, exercise impact, and so on. It would also be very interesting if you can interview professional people, like nutritionist, dermatologists, herbalists and so on. I thought that that interview in the “clear skin program” about the vitamins for acne patients was really interesting and useful. Thanks for your amazing dedication and keep up the good work!!

#548 Sanna on 12.18.09 at 12:44 am

Hi Fran, thanks for this great site. I would like to know more about how to treat very sensitive skin and how to make your own masks and other natural treatments.

#549 Maryarm5 on 12.18.09 at 11:01 am

I just found your site, and I hope I will learn how to help all my teen children have healthy skin. They all have severe, cystic acne, and then have bad reactions to the meds from the dr, so I think we need to make drastic changes in our diet.
You probably address that, so I can’t ask for anything else now!

#550 Rishi on 12.18.09 at 12:31 pm

I would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions on getting rid of pock marks left over from popping zits, whatever research you’ve done and if there are any effective treatments. I’ve found your site very helpful thus far!

#551 Haley on 12.18.09 at 12:35 pm

Hi Fran!

I would like you to speak more about how other skin conditions can correspond with acne.

#552 Helen on 12.18.09 at 1:04 pm

Hey Fran,
I and some of my closest family members suffer from body eczema (mild to severe), and would like some information on how to treat this annoying skin condition naturally, without using hydrocortisones or topical steroids. Thanks :)

#553 N. on 12.18.09 at 1:09 pm

I think it would be good if you made a video on how to eat healthily on a budget, and at stores that were accesible by all because sometimes stores suggested are an hours drive away and it’s quite unconvenient.

#554 Keko on 12.18.09 at 4:16 pm

I’d love to learn how to battle hormonal adult acne. Is there anything that can be done naturally to balance our hormones and get rid of acne? I also agree with the above poster about being healthy on a budget. Since I’m on a very limited budget right now, it has difficult for me to follow your program. I find the knowledge extremely helpful, but too expensive to follow.

#555 Asiya Ansdersen on 12.18.09 at 5:33 pm

Hey Fran.

I love reading about natural skincare the more natual the better!! Raw food and good skin food is also things I think You should keep blogging about.

Hi Fran,

Just read your blog about the home made bath salts. Love love love!!

Please can you blog more about the scientific side of things. For example how certain foods help your body or how some products help heal the skin.
Also, can you blog more about hair-care, especially home made recipies.

Thank You

#559 Jill on 12.19.09 at 3:27 am

Well it’s December 18th at noon, hope I am still entered! Forget sometimes you’re in Australia.
I would like you to blog or video about redness and acne scars, rosacea, etc. I can usually treat my acne well thanks in part to your tips, but suffer from marks, blotchiness, redness etc, and it seems aloe, good diet, sleep, etc. don’t help. Cheers!

#560 Emily on 12.19.09 at 3:58 am

I would like to hear where the best places are to buy natural skin care products around the world (especially in the UK)

#561 phy on 12.19.09 at 5:01 am

I think you should write about how to cut out negative things from your life… in particular for students. When we have little money/time/direction. Thanks!

#562 yesi on 12.19.09 at 5:57 am

hi, I love your site but i would like to see maybe how to give my face a nice glow. (to not look so pale) =] your articles are amazing.

#564 Julie on 12.19.09 at 6:54 am

How sweet of you Fran to give away a xmas present to one of your lucky readers :)

I have been following your blog for a while, and I love the holistic direction it has taken..Would love for you to blog more about the body mind connection and how it all affects your skin. Would also love more product reviews and healthy food recipes. It would also be great if you could write about how to minimize oiliness in skin without having to use blotting paper constantly. (not really a problem in winter time though)

All in all I think you’re doing a terrific job, so please keep up the good work and thanks a million for sharing all your fabulous information with us all.

Wish you a merry christmas and a happy and healthy 2010!

#566 Sukh on 12.19.09 at 7:21 am

Hello Fran!

I have learned a lot from your blog so far and would like you to continue to do what you have been doing. :)
I would like you to talk little bit more about the natural remedies that one can use to clear acne and acne related scars. Also, about some healthy eating habits that are not time consuming or are of low-budget.

Thanks!

#567 Aiste on 12.19.09 at 7:50 am

Hi Fran,

At first I want to say a BIG THANK YOU for your very useful information. I have a problems with my skin for about 5 years and I could freely say that your videos and other kind of information really changed my attitude of acne.
During the next year, I would like to watch more about natural acne treatments, masks which you can do by yourself, reviews on ecological and natural products which could help to solve acne problem.
Thank you Fran
(Sorry for bad English)

#568 Jessica on 12.19.09 at 10:32 am

Your blog is very insightful and helpful. You are helping a lot of people. Keep up the good work!
Well I think a video on stress relief and different relaxation methods would be cool. Like breathing, visualization, meditation and so forth. I think a lot of acne is caused from stress. Also talking more about Eastern medicine.

#569 Saleh on 12.19.09 at 12:33 pm

Hi Fran.

I think you should write about how we can cope with our acne as we’re waiting for it to hopefully clear up. Also, i get cystic acne, and it’ll leave a raised bump on my skin and i can’t pop it. How can i get rid of these bumps? Thank you.

#570 Kyle on 12.19.09 at 12:51 pm

I’m interested in natural ways of scar removal from acne as well as what types of acne correlate to the location they are on the face.

#571 Patricia on 12.19.09 at 1:01 pm

Hi Fran!
I love your blog… I would like for you to make a video on stress relief techniques. I’m a first year teacher…. and I definitely need them!!

#572 Chris on 12.19.09 at 1:18 pm

I would love to learn more about DIY skincare especially for more limited budgets. Also–could you write more about how to deal with skin issues when DRY or VERY sensitive skin is combined with acne…like when even the mildest acids or essential oils are too strong. That would be GREAT! Thanks for your site.

#573 Jules on 12.19.09 at 1:23 pm

I think that what you are writting about right now is helping millions upon millions of people who suffer with acne including myself.

Continuing to write about treatments and what you experience and what you think about it is what I believe that you should continue to keep writting about.

I love that you have dedicated your free time with helping others. I know that you have helped so many and I personally would love to thank you for helping me and my daughter.

So a huge THANK YOU from California!

#574 Liz on 12.19.09 at 2:19 pm

Hi Fran!
I love your blog. Not sure if you have touched on this but was wondering if emotional freedom technique could have any affect on acne? I have used it before for other things but thought it might be worth looking into….
I was also wondering if you could recommend a good natural sunscreen that won’t make my skin go crazy!!!
thanks for everything!

#575 sol on 12.20.09 at 12:36 am

I would like to hear about how to remove scars with natural products.

#576 Rachael on 12.20.09 at 2:26 am

I would like to kno what to do for really dry skin, and how to help it without over exfoliating.

#577 Adam on 12.20.09 at 3:02 am

Well, I guess I’m too late for the contest, as I have just discovered this by randomly watching your video supporting Food Matters.
Anyhow, since we seem to be on the same page on several issues, a few suggestions for future topics could be:
Freeganism (reducing the amount of waste on this planet is a priority, isn’t it?)
Vegetarianism for ecological/environmental reasons (not just health or compassion)
Couchsurfing (while it has little to do with the above I find the Couchsurfing community a very fertile ground for alternative ideas)
That said, all the best with your blog, have a nice Christmas with your family and keep kicking ass in 2010 as well!!!

adam
